Garner Hotel READING CITY CENTRE by IHG

The hotel's location is excellent, right in the center of Reading. It's incredibly convenient, with shops, department stores, restaurants, cafes, and Reading train station all within walking distance. The hotel's decor is outstanding, and the facilities are brand new. The staff are very friendly and polite. However, a downside is that the hotel doesn't have a lift, and the staircases are quite narrow. If you have large luggage, it would be better to choose a room on a lower floor.

The front desk staff were excellent and helped me with my luggage. Since there's no elevator, they kindly gave me a room on the lower floor. The room was clean and quiet, with both air conditioning and a heater. All the essential amenities were provided. The hotel is centrally located, surrounded by restaurants and convenience stores, making it very easy to get around.

Had to carry my own luggage up and down 3 flights of stairs, which wound around quite a bit! There was staff to help during check-in, but I was on my own for check-out!
