Courtyard Boston Raynham

Upon a very late arrival the room provided had a very bad mildewy smell which was masked by the cold air. As the room warmed up the smell intensified which made it hard to sleep. The following morning I spoke with the front desk person who was apologetic. She had the housekeeping manager show me 2 rooms to pick from, which I ended up switching to a newer refurbished room. Be aware that this is an older hotel and although it is nonsmoking, the rooms are carpeted and some do have a stench of smoke. The lobby was very nice with a huge lounging area. The kitchen had good coffee and pastries. There are many stores and restaurants nearby. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Up the street there is free breakfast. I found the staff to be disinterested and borderline rude. I visit this part of Massachusetts monthly and won’t be returning

This was a disappointing stay.I travel to Massachusetts once a month to visit my son and his wife who just had a baby. I usually stay at the Hampton Inn. That’s right up the street. The prices are similar, but this property, the courtyard Marriott didn’t offer a free breakfast. The staff weren’t as friendly in the room was just OK. There was an issue with my stay through ******* and instead of being helpful and helping me to resolve my issue, I found the person at the desk to be disappointingly unhelpful. Fortunately, ******* helped me resolve the issue and give me a refund for the night that I didn’t stay. I’ve already booked the next three months that I’ll be staying in the area at Hampton Inn and won’t be returning to this property.

Property was just okay. I didn't find the staff as friendly and helpful as the competitor up the street. No free breakfast.

The room was too small with a King Bed. The bathroom shower had a 2' crack on the shower wall and a cracked partition top. The lighting was strangely set up was not good due to the room setup. The other negative is they do not have a free breakfast so you have to pay extra. Also no free coffee when you get in .We will stay at another hotel from now on.

Staff: Courteous throughout. Room? Shower: not great. Broken bits. Crap lighting. NO cups for water (in bathroom) or drinks (in bedroom. Had to use coffee cups. Pretty disappointing given the reviews, so we kinda think we were gieven the worst room in the hotel?!

While the cleaning staff clearly worked very hard and made it as clean as possible, the first few nights of my stay, there was a strange musty/cigarette smell. It was clearly and older room that could use an update.

Out dated property - rooms have old fashioned tubs & showers w/curtains, old AC/Heat systems you need to crawl on the floor under a counter to adjust. Feels like a 50 yr old building
