Hotel Jolanda

My daughter and I enjoyed our stay here. It's a cute hotel with an excellent location in Santa Margherita, close to both the train station and the beach front. Friendly staff, quiet rooms (double glazing) good comfy bed and cute decor downstairs too. I would stay here again.

Stayed here for two nights on the start of our five week tour of Italy. It’s in a great location, a couple of minutes from the centre of town with a wide choice of restaurants and bars. Staff are very friendly and the reception team speak excellent English. Our room was comfortable with a good bathroom and was clean (on our first day there it was serviced whilst we ate breakfast). The valet parking is reasonable and efficient. Would happily stay here again.

The hotel is located fairly close to the railway station, restaurants and the water. We were travelling with our 3 teenage grandchildren, one who was staying at this hotel with us and two who decided to stay at another hotel, (economics). We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived, as we were planning to quickly book in and then accompany the other two to their hotel. However, as we were welcomed and the booking confirmed, the receptionist asked about the other two and offered to arrange for their transfer to their respective hotel by their own hotel vehicle. Very convenient for our group. The two rooms that were assigned were both very comfortable and clean and had their own balcony. NB: (We had stayed at Santa Margherita Ligure before on two previous occasions but the particular hotel we had stayed at was undergoing a refurbishment so we had opted for the Jolanda hotel and were not at all disappointed). As mentioned previously, we were within close walking distance from the railway station, the restaurants and more particularly the water for both swimming and ferry access. The included breakfasts that we had were fresh and plentiful and the attending staff were efficient and courteous. On the day that we left we had arranged for a hotel transfer to the nearby Rapallo station for both our group of three, and, also for the other two grandchildren from their hotel,as we to catch an early train to Rome. The hotel also arranged for a breakfast box "to go" for our particular group. Overall, our experience at Hotel Jolanda was terrific and we would happily stay there again.

This place was lovely to stay for our 3 nights in Santa Margarita. The hotel is in a very handy location well positioned for restaurants and the beach front. The valet parking was very good and reasonable and the hotel staff were all very friendly. Breakfast was excellent with a very good choice and attentive staff (they could, on occasion, be a little quick to take away plates and glasses) but the restaurant was very clean and tidy. The focaccia was delicious! The rooms were nice with nice bed linen and towels, the bathroom was a little on the small side as the door opened into the toilet. All in all a great hotel for exploring Santa Margarita - I would definitely recommend

Santa Margarita is a beautiful city full of charm. Hotel Jolanda added to that charm. The hotel was perfect! Beautiful room. Beautiful breakfast and steps away from the main area. Beautiful Hotel.

We just left the hotel. It is beautiful and well located. We booked their new Executive room, and it’s just like the pictures in their web. The only thing not mentioned is that you can’t open the curtains because the neighbor building is not only on top of you but also under repair. I didn’t complain because they didn’t disturb with noise but if you want a view, don’t choose 301. The breakfast was very good and the place nicely decorated. The staff very friendly starting by Robert. I would have give them 5 stars if it wasn’t for the view and the fact that they ruined my daughters surprise birthday breakfast, though I have asked several times for a detail to be arranged, they couldn’t manage to get it done even though I even recall them that morning

Great location. Good breakfast. Very clean hotel with amenities. Comfortable large room with balcony. Bed was super comfy. We were able to get to Portofino easily by bus. There are many restaurants. Santa Margherita was a good base for exploring the area.

This charming hotel brings you true italien vibe! Situated in a crossroad (a small one, not any trafic) with the local butcher across the street- you can just enjoy feeling a bit luxorious in a small villige in Italy. The breakfast is great, a buffet with everything you need and a staff at you service if you miss something. Praise to the staff member that took us to the train-station when the local taxi-driver was out of reach. I will recomend Jolanda for the excellent service minded staff. The rooms and beds was clean and comfortable. Its a nice stroll down to the beach and the harbour. You have all the charm of this place with the charming main-street (no cars) just around the corner.

Good location, nice rooms, good size, have a in room safe, clean. Lovely breakfast, excellent, friendly staff in the breakfast room. Not too far from the train station, and there are taxis available at the train station. 20 euros to take you “around the corner” to the hotel. Flat rate. Might be worth it if you have heavy bags. Easy to walk everywhere. Front desk were okay, don’t “fawn all over you” but help if you ask. It is a noisy hotel…you can hear the motorbikes, and traffic all night long. So if that is something that bothers you this is not the hotel for you.
