Hotel Amil

While the rooms are nice enough, and there are all the necessary facilities (Restaurant, Pool, etc), -the service, especially at the check-in desk was poor, to say the least. Other than that, some of the staff were extra nosy regarding what goes in inside the rooms (which, sure, is their right, but it also kind of of reduces the comfort of just having a quiet, relaxed stay). All that said, it's a good option to stay still, within the context of the area, and it's also helpful for events and seems to be more family-friendly and family-oriented.

Despite only being rated as a 2-star hotel, the service here was much superior. As a rural hotel, we did not expect many services from the hotel, but were pleasantly surprised to find a 24 hour restaurant, clean and well-kept AC rooms, and very helpful staff. The concierge was especially helpful with arrangements for our stay, including booking us a taxi for the day, and helping us to find a currency exchange to get local currency. The food was very good, and we also enjoyed going to the tea stall run by the hotel on the edge of their property. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Hotel Amil and would definitely return if in the area again!
