I was in Las Heliconias and I was pleasantly surprised. It is a beautiful hotel, much better than the nearby Decameron Panaca. From the moment you arrive, everything transmits tranquility: the gardens, the architecture and the colors make it look like it came out of the movie Encanto. One of the hotel's greatest successes is the spa, especially the attention of Bernie, who provides an unbeatable service, one of the best that the place has. The facilities are spacious, clean and very well maintained. The food is delicious and varied, with typical flavors of the Eje Cafetero, which makes each meal a different and very tasty experience. In summary, Las Heliconias is an ideal place to rest, enjoy nature and be pampered. Without a doubt, I would come back!

We enjoyed the rooms and the grounds. The breakfast was good. The Italian food could be improved. The activities were fun! It was fun for the family to be together.

For the price we payed for this stay, the quality is not what we were expecting. Decamerón used to be a really good hotel chain in Colombia, but it seems that that is not the case anymore. The hotel is beautiful and the surrounding area is spectacular. The staff are very friendly and the rooms are nice, but could be improved in some aspects (e.g: cleanliness and maintenance). The food was the most disappointing bit for us. Most of the buffet dishes lacked taste and were overcooked in every meal and or restaurant. The "a la carte"menu from "La Fonda" restaurant was equally disappointing. The children's playground is quite outdated and so is the minigolf. The hotel chain had several sales agents harassing the guests ,trying to convince them to buy their all inclusive package. This in my opinion, was very annoying and made us feel uncomfortable. Sadly, I won't go back to any Decamerón after this experience.

It was a fantastic hotel to enjoy our holidays, the kindness of all the staff was awesome, we really enjoyed all the services, amenities, infraestructure, meals, shows and entertainments, etc. We recommend 100%, specially if your travel is with your family, no doubts!!

Hotel is beautiful, Great Rooms, comfortable and good space. Food needs to be improved, not well selected and needs to have careful preparation. Some staff members, specially for bar and snacks bar not very kind and answering question rudely.
