Millennium Hotel Queenstown

It was a very pleasant stay! I absolutely love Queenstown, and staying at the Millennium Hotel was a unique experience in itself. Located on a small hillside, the moment you step out, you're greeted by a breathtaking spring scenery. Walking alone during the day and night felt very safe. There's a bus stop nearby, and also small paths that lead to the lake, and the church park trail, so I tried a different route each day to enjoy the town's varied scenery. There are also many hotels and resorts around the Millennium. Just down the hill is the town center, bustling with shops and a wide variety of restaurants. If you're on a domestic flight, the driver will drop you off at the airport 2 hours in advance. The hotel is only 10-15 minutes from the airport, which is very efficient, so there's no need to allocate a lot of time for airport transfers. All the attached photos show views that are just a 2-5 minute walk from the hotel. It would be even better if there were some discounts during the off-season!

Good value for money and a decent location. The view was average, but the dining was acceptable. Some staff were enthusiastic, while others were rather indifferent. The room was clean and a comfortable size.

The hotel is newly renovated with beautiful interior design. Check-in was a breeze. There were plenty of pillows on the bed, and the shower even came with a shower cap. The only minor inconvenience was the small desk in the room, which made it a bit difficult to put things on.

The front desk staff were very friendly, the room was quiet, and the pillows, bed, and duvet were all incredibly comfortable. It was also super convenient to walk to the Skyline and the main downtown area, and the lake was very close by. The breakfast was excellent.

Extremely satisfied! They even upgraded us to a twin room. The hotel is very new and comfortable. It's not far from the town center, just a short walk away. We stayed for four nights, and my child still didn't want to leave. They were so sad to go.

Overall, my stay was good. The hotel is only a 10-minute walk from the city center, but I wouldn't recommend it for older guests due to a very steep hill on the way, which could be challenging for them. The air conditioning in my room broke on the second night, but the hotel promptly provided a heater. During check-in, I noticed some hair on the bedsheets. Parking costs 25 NZD per night, and you need to inform the front desk upon check-in if you require a space so they can activate access on your room key for the car park.

The hotel service was good. The staff at the front desk, both the gentlemen and ladies, were friendly towards Chinese guests. The à la carte breakfast at the restaurant was nice, but the buffet breakfast wasn't up to standard. Also, the steak from the kitchen at dinner was really bad.
