The hotel's environment, sanitation, services and facilities are quite good, the hotel also provides a free underground parking garage, the small parking lot on the ground and the management staff also give parking. There are two big beds in the hotel, such as sleeping four people is still very loose. The bathroom is also large, clean and tidy, and the shower room is hot and large. The public facilities are complete, there is a gym and swimming pool, and the opening hours are also very long. The surrounding traffic is quite convenient. There are three buses that can go directly to the old town. There is a large Wal-Mart supermarket on the road, next to a large MALL. Further connected is the famous LAVAL University. For the winter students to shop without freezing, they have built a passage from the school to the shopping center. Everything is very user-friendly. However, there are also two regrets. First, I am reminded that I have already enjoyed the credit guarantee and I am exempt from the guarantee. However, the customer service call must be guaranteed by us, so that we had to change the advanced hotel processing payment, and also made three international long-distance calls with the customer service to bear the international long-distance telephone charges. Second, we booked the price of the two rooms on Ctrip. It’s 301 Canadian dollars. If you pay to the counter, you need to charge 311 Canadian dollars. I don’t know why? In short, I am satisfied with the hotel and have the opportunity to stay.

2 of the pillows on the bed had HAIRS on them! All the pillows were stained and the bed was used. We went to the front desk to ask for a new room. The agent said no rooms were available and that no one was there to clean the room. So he offered to give us new sheets so we can change OUR OWN SHEETS on the bed. Disgusting!! I showed up at 10pm and they gave me a hostel-style room in a dark and sketchy hallway. They said they gave the room I originally paid for to somebody who showed up earlier in the day. We had to climb stairs to get to this creepy section of the hotel. The front desk agent said he's never even been down that area of the hotel before. We were already very turned off from the whole place so we wanted to leave. Then another agent came in smelling like cigarettes and walked through our room. He said he can prepare another room for us in 20 minutes if we wanted to stay there. How could they prepare a clean room in 20 minutes? We did NOT want to stay the night here. He said we can talk to management tomorrow about getting a refund because nobody was in. We had to scramble for 30 minutes to find a different hotel to stay at in the middle of the night. The next morning the manager called me and said we will be charged for the night that we didn't stay in. She was very rude and kept cutting me off when I tried to explain the situation She clearly didn't care about the basic health and sanitary standards the hotel should be following. She said because they did their ”due diligence” in offering me another room, that I was still charged for the previous night. What kind of logic is that? How can I trust that the new room would be fully cleaned if it was a rushed job? The hotel already had their chance to provide me a clean room the first time. So I STILL had pay for the room even though I refused to stay there. Terrible! Do not go here!

Room was old in bad shape, headboards were peeling, floor dirty, bathroom baseboards looked like they were never clean, missing grout in shower, tub very slippery, no glass provided in bathroom, coffee maker didn’t work they replaced it with another machine which they said they tried and it worked not true my husband ended up fixing it. My husband was told to leave the gym because they said the treadmill was too loud for the people ,so maybe you shouldn’t have it on the third floor or not advertise you have a gym. We booked a prestige plus room as according to the pictures you show a much bigger room that actually looks nice and clean, the room we received was small and very dull and drabby. We wanted to change rooms and were told we could not. We booked this room months ago and when we arrived the hotel was not full therefore I think more effort should have been made to accommodate us. I would not ever recommend this hotel it was the worst hotel I have ever been in. Unfortunately the pictures I took were lost much to my dismay as I could have proven the bad shape and cleanliness of this room.

I liked the hotel location and facilities. The indoor pool was amazing and the live stage was so good. I would definitely visit here again and book the terrace view next time.
However, there are few things that I was very dissapointed.
The room was not managed well. There are white things are around the floors (it looks like painting or wall paper. I asked to change the room, but the new room has the same problem).
Hair dryer was phsically broken and not working.
Heater is not working and when I turn on, it is very noisy.
There was a party when we stayed and it was very noisy until almost 1 pm. We called at 12:30 and the reception said they send a security. However, it was still noisy after 30 mins).

First time staying at a Best Western in a long time. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean with no outside noise. I appreciated that there was no bed spread to decorate but only the duvet covered by sheets. Internet was fast and easy to access. The AC/Heating was a little loud at night when it started up, looked like the system was on the older side. The price was not much cheaper than hotels closer to the city, so I think I light breakfast could have been included, especially since there were not breakfast options in walking distance besides their restaurant, as we could see. Overall a pleasant stay and would go to a Best Western again.

Had a budget-friendly stay at this hotel, situated about 15 minutes away from Old Quebec by car. The room was modest in size, and the overall condition was okay. Despite not being very close to the main attractions, the low price point and complimentary breakfast make it a reasonable choice for those looking for an affordable and light stay.

Looks like the hotel has been recently renovated, but you soon find out that it only for cosmetics. Service is subpar, a good first indicator of how the management doesn’t care about the place. Room looked good at first sight, until you settle in. The room lacks soundproofing; on top of being located in an industrial zone, right beside the highway and under the flight path of the airport, you can hear your neighbours. The ventilation system dates from another era, its yellow-brownish colour betraying its age, on top of being extremely noisy and ineffective. There is no fitted sheet on the mattress, so good luck keeping that thin sheet in place all night. The bath doesn’t drain properly, so you finish your shower in two inches of your own dirty water, the shower curtain looked used and the washcloths were stained. The low quality shower gel and shampoo in the distributors were clearly watered down. I would have certainly disregarded a lot of this is this was a cheap motel on the side of the highway or if it was located in the heart of a touristic area, but this hotel is advertised as high-quality and charged $169 for a Sunday night in late September, all while being located far for anything interesting. Not even worth have the price.

VVon von123**Location and Accessibility:**
The Hilton Quebec boasts a prime location just outside Old Town and near Place D'Youville, where many buses stop. However, the hotel is situated on a hill, so if you're not taking a bus or Uber, be prepared for a bit of an uphill walk to reach the entrance.
**Room and View:**
We paid extra for a room with an Old Quebec River view, and it was worth every penny. The window was clear, allowing us to take stunning photos of Old Town Quebec with Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac in the background.
**WiFi:**
The WiFi connection at Hilton Quebec was excellent—smooth and fast, perfect for staying connected or getting work done.
**Amenities:**
While the rooms do not come with bottled water, during the summer, the hotel provides water dispensers with ice water near the reception, which was convenient for filling our water bottles.
Overall, Hilton Quebec offers a comfortable stay with fantastic views and excellent connectivity, though the uphill walk may be a consideration for some guests.
Overall a really good hotel, close enough to the old Quebec and close to the aquarium. The pool is nice and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing, loved the waffles machines. Great for work as well. Wifi worked well. Very clean hotel. Cons: • We didn’t like the mattresses in the rooms, they were way too soft and mushy, felt like we were sinking. • Also there was a door (locked) that connected to another room. Even though is locked, it didn’t feel as secure. • Also, felt like walls were paper thin. Ppl above us were extremely loud until late at night. • Hated the fact that the TV isn’t in front of the bed??? It was way on the side where the couch was. The arrangement could be better.
GGuest UserIt is a very old building, and it feels good to live here. But the room heating is insufficient, especially when it is minus ten degrees outside. I didn't notice at the beginning, the heating was turned on for a long time, and the temperature was slow. There is only one small heater against the wall in a room, and another relatively large fan. The wind in the fan is cold. I have reflected it with the hotel, but it has not been solved very well. It was not until the second day that I got up in the morning and the temperature slowly rose. Other services are still very good.
Wonderful stay - the property is as charming as it is convenient. We had the studio with kitchen on the ground floor. The back door opened right to our private parking space so it was really easy to get around. Everything was spotless and well appointed. We checked out the terrace but of course it was cold and covered in snow. It’s sure to be wonderful during warmer months. The guest portal is very helpful. This was our first visit to Quebec City and our son’s first visit out of the US - this made a terrific first impression! There are restaurants and shops up and down the street. We would definitely book again in the future. Thanks especially to Jade, who was consistently patient with my questions!
KKarenDespite the hotel being under renovation, there was no noise from construction. You couldn't see construction scaffolding inside the hallways, they Built temporary walls that fully hid the corridors with construction. Excellent management of customer experience despite renovations!
Excellent location! 2 mins walk to the closest attraction, the national assembly building
RRUIThe hotel is in the old town, very close to the attractions and within walking distance. Just in time for the Christmas season in Quebec City, the streets and alleys are all dressed up with various Christmas decorations, and the lights are very beautiful at night. The hotel rooms are spacious and clean, with two large beds very comfortable. Because there is no elevator in the old house, the residents can only climb the stairs, but fortunately, they can exercise on the third floor. There is a Thai restaurant on the first floor of the hotel, and the business is good. I originally booked a room without breakfast. I upgraded it to include breakfast at the front desk. Thank you very much. The parking fee for two nights was also confiscated before checking out. This trip was really worthwhile.
We made our reservations through a booking service and were expecting breakfast to be available. Only coffee, tea, and cocoa in the lobby, with coffee makers in the room. Had to show desk clerk our printed reservation and only then did he provide breakfast vouchers for a restaurant a short walk away. Of our five nights here we only had maid service once. Our traveling companions on another floor never received maid service, even when requested, although they were given clean towels. Beds were a little too soft for our liking. The hotel is directly adjacent to the Chateau Frontenac (shown in the picture for this hotel on the Trip Advisor website!), across the street from the Jardin du Gouverneurs park and the Terrasse Dufferin, which overlooks the St Lawrence River. So, location is fantastic. Not sure location made up for the disappointing hotel, however. When our flights home were cancelled, we were pleasantly assisted by hotel staff to book a taxi to the airport. A 20-min ride for four in a Toyota RAV4 was about $50 CAN.
The location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic. It is within walking distance of all the major attractions in Quebec City. The building is an older building with so much character and, I feel, so much wasted potential. While our beds were clean and comfortable the rest of the room was quite dirty and run down. If you walked barefoot on the floor your feet became immediately dirty. There was a previous guests fake eyelashes and coffee stains on the window sill. I’ve been a housekeeper in a historic building so I do understand the work and maintenance required to keep them clean and fresh, and was disappointed that this building isn’t being kept at its best.
TtoshoppExactly what you expect. Easy to check in. Can be challenging if you don’t speak French but staff do try. Ask for renovated room as these are comfortable. Beware All Quebec City changes random extra taxes which they don’t negotiate which isn’t fair.
