Quanzhou Zhongshanxiao International Youth Hostel offers an amazing experience! It's clean and tidy, with a quiet and comfortable environment and complete facilities. The front desk staff are warm and attentive, providing great recommendations for local food. It's a very safe place for solo travelers, offering excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

This hostel is absolutely fantastic! Not only does it have a great vibe, excellent facilities, and top-notch service, but you can also pet cats and dogs and enjoy hot meals. It's super close to all the main attractions, and it's even located in a cool creative park that's fun to explore. Seriously, just come! It's perfect for finding travel buddies, chatting with new friends, eating and drinking, watching movies, playing pool – everything is relaxed and easygoing!

This is my favourite city in my trip of 6 cities. This is located inside Yuanhe 1916 Creative Park. It's a very nice place with great location, near to most major attractions. I enjoyed my stay greatly because the amenities was great, it's relatively clean, but most importantly the staffs are helpful without being intrusive. The dorm room comes with attached bathroom, which is cleaned daily. I love the vibe of this hostel even though it's the lull season, not crowded. I almost wanted to extend my stay.

Firstly, I want to emphasise that the hostel staff are amazing - very friendly and helpful. They helped me sort out a problem with my phone, shared their suggestions of places to visit, and helped me upgrade my room too. So 10/10 for the staff. To give a more honest review of the room though: Pros: The shared common room area is very spacious, and a great place to meet new friends. There are games and activities available, plus they often organised free social events like card game nights and movies. The dorm room was relatively spacious, with a desk space too. The beds have good privacy curtains. There are plug sockets by each bed for charging phones etc. Cons: The main issue I have with the dorm rooms is that there is a dedicated bathroom per room. This seems great, until you have a roommate who spends three full hours all morning recolouringtheir hair in there, while the rest of us can't use the toilet or shower. Other than that, I did feel that the location was a bit inconvenient (I had to drag my suitcase through some kind of dirty building site to get there, and it is about 15 mins walk from the main tourist area). Additionally, the beds were very uncomfortable (they've used foam mattesss toppers on wooden boards, with no actual mattress) and didn't have a shelf next to the bed or any storage lockers for bags. Also the hostel didn't provide towels for dorm room guests (which is usually standard). After the issue with the roommate hogging the bathroom (who also snored all night too...) I asked to pay the difference to upgrade to a private room. The hostel happily arranged this without any issues, and even prepared the room for me to move into early. This private room was much better - a proper mattress, towels provided, etc. It was a bit noisy when the neighbour turned on their air conditioning (since the unit was right outside the window), but other than that I have no complaints.

Clean hostel in a great location. Stuff in the hostel was friendly and always helpful. I would definitely recommend this accommodation.

I had an amazing stay at this hostel! My private room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. But what really made the experience special was the great atmosphere. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, making it easy to connect with other travelers. The common area downstairs is spacious, with a playful dog and cat roaming around, as well as games to enjoy. We ended up playing mahjong almost every night. The hostel also has a great location in the 1916 arts district, just a 15-minute walk from the old town. Highly recommended!

A place full of love! The best hostel I have ever been to (across Asia America and Europe) Located in the ancient district of Quanzhou so convenient to go most of the spots Holds a big lobby where has film screening and all kinds of activities every night Welcoming front desk and I reaaaaaaaly like her. Brought me into the community and share me everything interesting about Quanzhou Most of the volunteers there used to be the guests (proof for how lovely the community is!) and all thanks to Xinyue, Qiuqiu, Cici, Weiwei, Hongmei, A-Jun, Ms Lin, Bro Cong, and Sis Nan, such an unforgettable memory with you guys in Quanzhou!

Walking distance to public transport and West Street. In a refurbished, cosy, former industrial area. Every dorm has it's attached but separate bath and WC. Friendly and helpful staff.

i only spent one night and i would definitely come again if i have the opportunity to~ the hostel is located in the heart of the 1916 art district, close to other touristic streets so its convenience is top notch. it’s really rare to meet staff who can speak english, so even for foreigners i would recommend! the general vibe is amazing and i felt very welcomed ~

Price worthy and modern setting. Within walking distance to West Street.

Staff are brilliant! They helped travellers like me to plan my trip and they are very friendly and chatty. Really enjoyed my stay here.

The room and bedsheets are clean. Can improve further if can display information to places of interest at the lobby.
