Originally, a family of young and old came from Guangzhou to Qingyuan to help your hotel during the Chinese New Year holiday. They were attracted by your so-called five-star brand. Huge hotel, outdated but still in good condition. Great for families BUT the indoor playground really needed a deep clean, the pool water was full of bugs on a Sat.afternoon (better next morning)and the water in the indoor pool way too cold.Outdoor playground was great, rooms very nice though smelling heavily of damp. Breakfast was fantastic!Staff were helpful wherever we went. I would not recommend the Chinese restaurant or the buffet-do yourself a favour and drive 10min down the main road to a countryside restaurant,where you can eat massive portions of delicious ribs, roast chicken,tofu,veg,etc.Generally,we had a nice stay and would come again but the things I mentioned above really need to be taken care of.

This is definitely the best hotel I've stayed at in China. I say this because of the customer service. I've never received this level of top tier customer service at any hotel I've been to in China and I'm big on travelling. From the persons who clean the room up to the manager were just amazing. Very much foreigner friendly!! When you check in at the front desk you're greeted with the a hot rag and some tea. I love that. Any issues/concerns we had was dealt with immediately! The breakfast was also very good! The best part was how clean not just the rooms were but the entire hotel. Everywhere is CLEAN, the beds are soft and comfortable and the air is very good. I also loved that the room is equipped with a built in speaker in the bathroom! Just WOW. The staff are so kind especially the manager! Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone going to Qingyuan.

The breakfast at the hotel is very rich, and there are also late night snacks. The mattress and pillows are very comfortable. I have already ordered the same mattress, pillow, table and chairs online. They are really comfortable and not expensive. The price/performance ratio is super high. The front desk The service is also very good, every detail is very good. There is a huge shopping mall about 100 meters next to it, with many restaurants in it. There is also Beijiang nearby, which is only a few minutes walk away. A night tour in Beijiang only costs more than 30 yuan per person. , the 45-minute ride is really great value, and the boat is very quiet. I recommend everyone to take the hotel. Everything is very good and satisfactory! The parking lot is also very large and easy to park. I will stay here again next time I go there!

We had an absolute great time staying at KHOS for a family trip, just for one night but we enjoyed the hot springs waters at night and the facilities for children during day time. A lot of options to enjoy with family. The staff was great super helpful and nice and the room super nice, very spacious and with nice view. The food was also good but breakfast has not many western options. Overall is a great experience worth the price, great option for a weekend away from the city. I have to say I went during weekday with not many people.

First time staying at Qingyuan and choose this hotel. Overall is satisfactory. Only complaint is that my favourite hot tub is small and crowded, locals don’t seem to leave the tub even when they are not using it, and talk too loudly. Sauna and steam rooms temperature has set too high. Due to cold weather we have dinner at the Chinese restaurant for 2 nights, and satisfying on both occasions, food was good, service was good, and reasonable prices. Difficult to call taxi though if you want to move around.

Near the high-speed rail station about 8 kilometers, the surrounding environment is good, in the city, there are many restaurants and entertainment shops in the shopping mall downstairs. The room was clean and hygienic. Check-in was fast and the waiter was courteous.

I am a business traveler, working in Qingyuan. I am glad I chose to stay at the mayland resort vs at a chain international hotel. The mayland is full of character. Rooms are big and comfy. Hotspring access is included. Even a quick dip is a great way to relax after a long day of hard work. Nicest thing for me has been the exceptional service. I especially want to thank Lei Xing and Luo Congyi for being so helpful and attentive to my every need.
