This hotel is quirky and stylish and generally fine, however...
On arrival the clerk presumed I was in the same room as a male friend who had arrived earlier, despite me showing my own passport and booking confirmation...this meant I was given their room card and was very nearly in a very embarrassing situation when i entered their room and heard them in the shower! Sorted when I went back to reception and given an odd gift to try and make up for it but this really isn't an ideal situation. Presuming we are staying together just because we're foreigners is not appreciated.
The shower was disappointing and not able to position so that you wouldn't get your hair wet, unless you physically held it.
Liked the style of the Tatami room a lot though!
