The environment is quiet and transportation is convenient. The decor is a bit dated, but the front desk staff are very friendly.

Fantastic location! It's within walking distance to May Fourth Square and Olympic Sailing Center, and the subway is close by, making getting around super convenient. The room is simple and clean, with soundproofing designed by Tsinghua Acoustics Institute, and the bedding is soft and comfortable. The smart room control system is a thoughtful touch. The front desk staff are warm and efficient, and the cleaning is meticulous. The 24-hour laundry room and gym are very practical. Great value for money, my top choice for business trips or travel. Highly recommended!

The facilities are poorly maintained; the shower diverter wasn't labeled correctly. Housekeeping was sloppy, and the front desk staff seemed disengaged and paid little attention to guests. In the evenings, off-duty staff would hang out in the lobby with the on-duty staff, laughing and being very loud. Employees even used the guest laundry room. Some male employees actually smoked in the lobby 🚬, and the front desk area itself was a mess. It's clear that the management of this place is terrible! The management quality is worse than a guesthouse!

I brought my family to Qingdao, and since my child loves the sea, I booked this Orange Hotel in the city center for convenience. The hotel's location is great, near May Fourth Square, less than a 10-minute walk away. You can catch the light show there in the evenings, supposedly from 7 PM to 9 PM. Although it's an older hotel, the rooms are kept very clean, and the facilities are standard. There's a laundry room, which is really convenient when traveling with kids. Breakfast was decent, with freshly cooked wontons and pretty good food options. Despite a minor hiccup, the front desk manager promptly helped us switch rooms, and the service attitude was good. Overall, I'm quite satisfied.

The most basic hygiene was completely neglected; the room smelled terrible. There was hair on the floor by the door, and the corners and baseboards were noticeably damaged, indicating very rough work. It's clear that no one has seriously maintained this place for a long time. I do not recommend it and will not be returning.

The room was simple and clean, with good soundproofing and soft, comfortable bedding. The smart room controls were handy, and the citrus toiletries smelled fresh. Check-in at the front desk was efficient, and they even offered thoughtful recommendations for sightseeing routes. The cleaning staff were meticulous, and the self-service laundry and free parking are huge perks for travelers. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Qingdao! I highly recommend the freshly made and cooked wontons for breakfast – they're delicious, especially paired with the hotel's homemade chicken soup. Absolutely amazing! #ThumbsUp
