Barceló Hotels in Qesm Sharm Ash Sheikh

We stayed for 7 nights in the last week of November. The hotel itself is lovely, dated yes, but very clean and all staff make you feel welcome and certainly go the further mile to make your stay special. Room We had a swim up room (3111) and it was nice, shower and air contract, the beds were comfy and I had goods night sleep every night. The swim up pool was nice, although cold, but it is the winter months My only gripe, the mini bar wasn’t included in our booking and was told will have to pay extra for this! Food Normal all inclusive food is offered and although we didn’t go hungry it’s rather repetitive, all meals you were offered various dishes cooked to order, breakfast omelettes were awesome, grilled steak and other meats were always available The service was second to none, we were looked after by Mohamed who bought us our own pot of tea every meal, an asset to your hotel. Pool area We didn’t really use the pool as it’s winter time and in shade most of day Beach A private beach is literally a 2 minute walk from hotel, and it’s lovely, I do recommend beach shoes as it’s shingle beach and hurts your feet without, plenty of high quality sunbeds available and a private swimming area in Red Sea, which is where I spent most of my time snorkelling and marvelling at all the species of fish in there. Animation team They are non stop in entertaining us, we were entertained brilliantly but if you wanted to relax no problem as they left you alone. Bar areas were great whether it was the beach bar or lobby bar with plenty of local alcoholic or non alcoholic drinks on offer. So to summarise, if you looking to stay here for a relaxing holiday, I recommend it, it is off beaten track and staff were immense, would I return, yes in the summer months though.
