Wadi Sabarah Lodge is unlike any hotel I've stayed at in Egypt before, and I absolutely loved it. We were a party of 3 (myself, my sister and my brother in law) and we primarily chose the hotel because of the on site dive centre. The hotel is quite new (2 years old I believe) and we so enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are spacious and have everything you could want in a hotel room, including a great view of the beach and sunrise every morning. The tranquil atmosphere at the hotel is wonderful, peaceful and chilled is the best way to describe the place. The open air, first floor restaurant over looking the pool with a view all the way to the beach is terrific. And the food is a revelation. All completely authentic Egyptian meals, although there is an a la carte menu if you want more western style food. I tried dishes I never would have thought I would, and they were delicious. Plentiful as well, they were always happy to bring more of something if you liked it and wanted more. The staff are so friendly and attentive, they couldn't do enough for you. From the managers, through to the restaurant staff, and to the back room team looking after the rooms, they all wanted you to have the best stay ever, and we definitely did. And should you want to dive, the onsite Emperor dive centre is on the beach. Experienced guides, excellent back room team and great organization. We had a great time with them. We are already planning a return visit and can thoroughly recommend this hotel. It's probably not for everyone, but we loved it. Julia, Fran and Roge
