We express our gratitude to the hotel staff. I would like to note that everyone is very friendly and polite, so an atmosphere of good relaxation and good mood is created. This was our first time here, we hope to come again! Many thanks to everyone!

We recommend this hotel to you all. This is the cheaper of two hotels next to each other, but I couldn't see why. Between the hotels is a road with 9 or so restaurants on it. Once a week, the road becomes the home of a festival, and it's great with a parade, entertainment and lots of well presented food. We looked forward to this each week. Staying with food, there was always a different theme each night for the food, it was always tasty and always well presented. Rooms are older, but clean and comfortable. The shows, 2/5 were amazing, in the top 5 of shows we have seen in Egypt in the last 20 years. The amphitheatre is great as well. The gym is covered but open walls on the beach. It's a little small, felt busy with 3 people in it, but enough weight for most people. A women came in and took offence at the guy trying to help her, immediately thinking it was because she was a women. Me and the other guy in there smiled at each other, because he'd done the same with us the first time we went in. The thing is, we both look like we've been to the gym before, she looked like she'd always swerved the gym in favour of the buffet. Felt sorry for the guy, he only wanted to help and share his knowledge. Nice guy. The beach area is a deep crescent with shallow, gently shelving water. Lovely to splash about in. If you take water shoes, you can safely swim out to the desert island just off shore. It's great. With your shoes on, you can walk over the sharp stones to the far side of the reef and snorkel. The water is deep and a little wavy, but the sea life is as good as we have seen it in Egypt. Turtles, moray, rays and a thousand other fish. I think maybe because it's a challenge to get to, it's quiet and not many people disturb the environment. We'd go in there and snorkel to the next piers. The other hotels don't like you using their piers and are watching out for you... This place will be at the top of our list when we go back this year, but we will still look around to see if we can find anything to beat it.

This hotel is so lovely! The pool area, beach and all surroundings are so beautiful and serene. The food and drink was to a good standard with so much variety. I didn’t struggle at all as a vegetarian. The hotel was clean, and the service fantastic. The room was a bit dated but it was very spacious, with a comfortable bed and decent shower so it was no issue at all. Housekeeping was done daily to a high standard - just remember to put your ‘do not disturb’ sign on the door if you don’t want to be woken up early 😂 All the staff were so pleasant and friendly, I felt comfortable as a solo traveller. It takes a couple of days to work out where everything is as this hotel complex is huge! Entertainment in the evening was daily between 9-10pm and was excellent. There are plenty of restaurant options and a few shops within the hotel complex. The coco loco club on the beach was awesome. There are lots of tours and things to do that can be booked within the hotel, such as quad biking, snorkelling paradise beach or orange bay trips, photoshoots, spa/massage packages, day trips to Cairo and Luxor etc. Note that you cannot just freely walk out of the hotel into town/Makadi bay, an Uber or taxi is required to drive out of the grounds to go anywhere. Tours do offer pick ups to this hotel though, so it’s not a problem. I look forward to seeing the newly constructed rooms when they are ready. I would highly recommend this hotel, there’s really nothing not to like! My only regret was that I didn't book for longer. See you again Labranda Club Makadi 😊🧡

I came here same time last year and loved it. I told the staff that I would be back and I kept my word. Everything about this place is nice. They all work hard to make your stay a lovely experience. The animation team do a fantastic job always putting on shows and games and getting to know you. Chris Laj88 took extra care of me as I had a bad knee. I thank him so much. The place to be at 10 p.m is Coco loco beach club. It’s literally on the beach and open air. The music is great and good vibes for those who want to boogie.

Very good trip in labranda makadi hotel, with very good animators to spice even more the time spent there. Very experience to share with your family or friends, i recommend it very much if you like the sun or the pool. Very nice bedrooms and nice decorations.

We were very satisfied with the hotel, the accommodation was clean, the food in the neighboring Royal and the Italian a la carte restaurant were excellent, the grounds of both hotels were very beautiful. I would especially like to praise the attitude and willingness of the staff, the varied evening programs and the animation team, led by Hana and Fredy, full of great energy. From the moment you arrive you are warmly greeted. The culture in this hotel was outstanding, and as a solo traveller very warmly welcomed. Staff are kind, engaging, constantly smiling and always helpful. My room was a little dated but it honestly didn't matter, the bed was huge and very comfortable and cleaned every day with incredible standard. (they are currently refurbing, to update the rooms too). The facilities are fantastic (WiFi not the best but you find the spots where it's good). Pool area amazing, seconds from the beautiful bay too. Everything is thought of, beach bars and fridges stocked with bottled water to help yourself to. I was amazed at how friendly everyone was,(I wish I remembered everyone's name), from the animation team who greeted me and took me under their wing on the first night (Hannah and Mariam), moataz the awesome life guard who made sure I was ok and even helped with my towels on the sun loungers, Osama, Moustafa and Mariam in the restauarant, (and all the servers who said hello and smiled at me every single time), mahmoud on reception where nothing was too much trouble and helped with a number of things.. honestly, the people were just amazing. There is plenty of choice in the restaurant, I loved seeing fresh bread made, so much cooked in front of you too, it's all super fresh and very well managed on such a large scale, with themed food nights too... (loved Egyptian night). There is entertainment with the super hard working animation team if you want to join in too (they literally never stop). Drinks aplenty, the team remembered my order and delivered drinks without prompt too. I loved my time at club makadi. There are plenty of trips to go on, I was not expecting pool side/sea front approaches so don't be afraid to say no or to listen and think before you commit, they are keen to get your places booked! I learned I could have a red flag on my parasol with signified I didn't want to be approached. I have to say, the squad safari was an amazing experience with a small group and I booked this pool side, so it's not bad this happens, I just couldn't do every trip or massage experience (sadly). All in all, I loved my time here, it was a perfect safe haven.

The music was too loud every night, I could not sleep until the music stops. In the gym there was only one running machine. One waiter was so unprofessional, he tried to ask me for my Whatsapp number. The people that start talking to guests and try to sell something on the beach are boring and are destroying the guest's privacy
