During check out, they automatically add on 1 euro to stay, some charity program they claimed that will help poor starving kids. Is not about the $, but I hate it when people feel entitled that we should we donating this $ with the hotel taking all the credits. Is not a big amount as our normal restaurants meals in Cyprus, we typically tip 5-10 euros. But the fact that they add this amount into your bill before u agreeing to it, pissed me off Bad service, lousy quality and service attitude for a 5 star hotel Should have just top up 100-150usd to stay in four seasons Hotel Reception attitude is the worst! Good hotel with good location. Recommend this hotel, likes the service, breakfast and territory. But to travel around you need a car

The hotel grounds are clean, green and well-groomed. Nice beach, sand. Clean pool. It’s cozy and comfortable to relax under the ficus trees, on a high-quality lawn.

Stayed with my wife and two young children in an inland family room. The stay was brilliant. The hotel is well looked after with plenty of eating options, and it is always nice when there are outdoor seats in the various restaurants (we have stayed at plenty of hotels in the sun that have not had this. Who wants to sit inside when the Sun is shining and there are beautiful views to enjoy???). Staying in May, not all the restaurants are open every day. So be sure to look at the timetable early in your stay and make your reservations for the days that they are open to avoid disappointment. The hotel is a little way out of Limassol, but if you have a hire car or hire the hotels bicycles it is only a short trip into town. Taxis and bus service are also freely available. And the benefit of being further out is that the hotel enjoys quite extensive grounds and is of course quieter without a noisy road outside which hotels closer to town have. The inland family room is very large with bunkbeds for the children which they enjoyed. And it has clearly been made over in the last few years. It’s fair to say that there are other five star hotels in the area that will be more luxurious, but at the same time those hotels required you to pay an awful lot more money for your stay. For what we paid, this was a good quality five star hotel that we thoroughly enjoyed staying at. Nice pool areas (One pool is called the executive pool and has a short slide for children.) We were not in an executive room but no one seemed to be bothered that we were able to use it which was nice. Telling children they can’t use a slide because we haven’t paid enough for a room is an unnecessary complication for a holiday The captains bar terrace was lovely with great views, and due to its three levels it was easy to get a seat and table where you could enjoy those views. Lovely extensive grounds which are well looked after, with plenty of sunbeds so you can lie and have a quiet time away from this slightly busier pool areas was a nice feature, and they lead down to a large beach which has lovely sand and plenty of sunbeds provided by the hotel. But by far the best part of this hotel was the staff. From reception to the baggage staff to the bar staff to the restaurant staff, all staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and welcoming. We felt very much at home and looked after in this hotel and enjoyed it very much. We’d very happily stay here again in the future.

A family holiday that was really disrupted by business events and conferences. The setting and staff are really great but avoid booking if you are looking for a relaxing family holiday in a luxury hotel. Multiple events through the week taking up gardens, terraces, main bar and the noise generated from Game Developers conference was really really awful; large stage set up in the ‘Quiet area of lawn’, band and music testing for one day and then live the next. Horrific disturbance. Would not book again. Zero consideration from management.

This hotel is very clean and very well run ,from the swim up bar ,Zoe,and Chris do cocktails to die for,the food is amazing and has choice for everyone, sea shells vegan, splash for snacks and octagon for everything else big shout out to Yannis the restaurant manager who's professionalism and charisma and very well manned approach to his job went above and beyond to the point of getting skolrdelia greek dip made up for us ,we stayed in room 328 which was very nice apart from the balcony having paid for a sea view which in theory we got looking from the right ,looking from the left we had car park, main road and motorway to look at.? The grounds are well kept and the beach is private we encountered a few corporate venues a four day wedding and a annual festival which encroached on our stay with bars not been available as normal.overall the few minuses were over rode by the pluses.

We chose St Raphael Resort for our first abroad trip with our children who are 4 and 7. We were coming from the UK and therefore it was a long journey from door to door and therefore we were very pleased to be welcomed with such friendly faces when we arrived. We picked this hotel because of the choices for vegan food and in particular Seashells restaurant and this did not disappoint. There was always plenty to eat and so much choice, in Seashells we wanted to try it all! Everything in the buffet restaurants was clearly labelled and we loved how the vegan hot choices were all together in the palladium. We had a family room at the back of the hotel but that’s what we paid for so that’s what we expected. We didn’t get the advertised welcome drink, fruit in the room or minibar (it had 2 cartons of orange juice in) but we didn’t need any of these things so it didn’t bother us. The staff were so friendly, welcoming and the customer service was outstanding. They tried really hard to remember what drinks you liked and how you liked them. Special mention to the staff at seashells, splash restaurant, amphibian bar and captains bar. Our boys liked ordering their own drinks and the staff listened carefully and attentively whilst they did this. Our 4 year old got a reputation for liking the nuts at captains bar. The pop up Dolce Vita restaurant was a lovely experience and we really enjoyed the magic show in captains bar. Our eldest was pleased to be involved. The beach was lovely and like swimming in a bath. We enjoyed using the peddle boat which was included with our all inclusive. We ran out of time during our holiday to try to kayak which was a shame. All in all a very magical first holiday abroad with our children. It felt like a 5* hotel with 5 star service so ignore anyone who tells you otherwise. If you are vegan you won’t be disappointed with the food options. We very much hope that we will be back! Once again thank you to Sasha, Kendall, Alexus, Jaqueline, Chris and Zoe.

This hotel was very clean well run with it's own private beach, the pools were very good and the swim up bar a delight with Zoe,and Chris serving cocktails to die for, the restaurants were very well set out and the food was fantastic a big shout out to Yannis the restaurant manager who made every sitting a pleasure with his professionalism and characteristic manners even arranged skoridila the greek dip for us that was not available, we stayed in room 328 which had a tiny balcony it has a sea view from the right hand side but over looked the carpark and main road and motorway from the left which was disappointing, there was nothing that people could quibble about the food great choice and even a vegan restaurant, we did encounter a lot of corporate functions and big four day wedding and a yearly festival that encroached on our visit with not been able to use the usual bars .the grounds are very well kept and plenty of sunbeds rooms have fridge, safe, and all the mod cons , overall the hotel has it all gym ,spar, indoor pool, but is out on a limb with nothing in and around the hotel without getting a bus or taxi to Limassol town. Great stay and the pulses override the negatives which were few.

Really nice and clean hotel. Rooms are big, clean and service was amaizing. There is a choice of a good restaurants and bars. As well, outside the hotel within a walking distance the are a few bars and restaurants with amaizing food and drinks. Breakfast is good, not the best, but ok. Champagne is served :) What I didn’t like during the breakfast is really bad coffee, like totally disgusting ( and its soo important in the morning ) and the pancakes and the waffles really hardly chewable. Nice mini club for a children. From age 4 they can stay with animator. Super cool activities and nice staff. We had the marine sea view and the view was stunning. The only bad thing about it was loud music from the bar till 00:30 am. Like really loud even with closed balcony doors. Impossible to sleep. Soo if You are used to sleep early during the vacations too, keep that in mind. But in total we had a good time in St.Raphael hotel.

We visited this lovely resort between 31st May and 8th June 2024. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the grounds and beach are immaculate. The staff are friendly and hard working and nothing is too much trouble for them. Initially we booked for seven nights. I would have extended our stay but couldn't change our return flight. Our only disappointment was that although the hotel boasts several restaurants only two were open during our stay. To be fair the hotel does state that some restaurants open according to occupancy and the hotel was very quiet. Having said that the food was varied and of good quality. I would recommend St Raphael, Cyprus to anyone and look forward to our next visit.

The hotel rooms and public spaces are kept immaculate and the gardens are beautiful and a good place to go to if you want total peace and quiet. We had no complaints about the food as it was varied and well cooked, the drinks were good and were named brands. The animation team were friendly and did their best to encourage participation slightly difficult as there were few holiday guests there (only conference attendees ) and finally the rest of the staff were most welcoming and friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. Now the bit that could prevent me from staying again, a three day conference was being held, with I’m guessing over one hundred people attending, unfortunately this meant at breakfast and lunch which they all took at the same time was awful with them all talking business and trying to outdo each other with stories of how good they were not something you want to hear whilst on your holiday, and unfortunately at night some were extremely loud rude and quite obnoxious. The management did try to address this issue when we complained. So whilst I appreciate hotels need to make their business pay mixing paying guests with conferences jollies doesn’t work, so unfortunately we wouldn’t return unless we were confident there wasn’t a conference there.
Response from Property: Dear Reviewer, I thank you for choosing the St Raphael Resort & Marina and thank you for letting us know of your honest impressions with regards to your recent holidays. I am glad to note that you found most of our facilities and services to your entire satisfaction and thank you for you very kind and encouraging comments about our facilities and about my team members who extended to you friendly and attentive service. On the other hand please allow me to personally apologise for the disappointment you have expressed for the conference held during you stay with us. As you have correctly stated the hotel is quite big so we allocated specific areas to such groups in an effort to keep all other facilities available for our guests in order not to disturb their relaxing holidays. However there are cases that some areas and especially restaurants are shared between our guests and the conference attendees but again we try to find ways so the operation to be as smooth as possible. Once again we thank you for having taken the time to express your honest experience in writing and it is our hope that you will give us the opportunity to be of your service again in the future.
