Great adult resort with wonderful food, salt water pool and a very nice beach with good waves. The spa has its own pool with pulsating massang water jets which are a big plus. Great desserts as well. Highly recommneded.

Overall we liked the hotel and the property. However the staff were very rude and unprofessional. After asked for lids for our coffees the guy working at the coffee shop called my husband "faget" in spanish!!! We told the reception nobody said they're sorry, no apology, nothing! They did nothing. It happened a accident with my husband where he fell and has trauma on his knee, again nobody from the hotel asked how was he, if we were alright. On leaving the hotel I asked a guy at the reception for our luggage and the guy scremed at me that he heard me and that they were going to bring the luggage. Very dissapointed.

The staff was wonderful! The property was very safe and clean. I was with my daughter who speaks Spanish. I found it difficult when I was alone to communicate speaking English.

I thought the resort was excellent overall. Property was not too large and yet large enough to find a quiet spot. Food was good. Service was impeccable and staff was friendly and accommodating. A shout out to Yeason at the Elite bar and Charles and Dave at check in. I would definitely return

This is the 3rd or 4th Riu that we have traveled to, and this was by far was the most mellowed. It was top-notch service from the time that we landed. We had problems with our flight and we made it a day late. The team starting with Valentin was very accommodating and made for the inconvenience right.
We were used to the food and entertainment options at the other locations and used it to make our food choices.
The rooms were clean when we entered. The only issue was you had to keep the air conditioner running to level out the humidity and some of the mosquitoes.
Overall the hospitality, beaches and accommodations met the expectations and we will at some point return and maybe visit one of the other RIU properties on the complex.

Honestly I really liked everything about this stay, the staff on the pool and in the restaurants are always around, the hotel is refurbished so all is kind of new and upgraded. The entertainment are lovely, they really do an amazing job making you have fun and entertained during your stay one person in particular Urne he is amazing. Food was considerably good considering its an all inclusive. I would definitely recommend staying here and would consider another Riu hotel in another destination.

Overall our stay was ok. The property is huge. They are nothing like the pictures. We were promised for a young looking resort this place is filled with older crowd. Do not go here if you are young. I saw pictures of pool parties and water slides. We were never told where to go to get this entertainment. Staff is useless causes all types of issues

This was our second time we stayed at the RIU Palace Maco in Punta Cana. This trip was just a wonderful as our first time 10 years ago - relaxing vacation both times !!
