Place clean Wonderful infinity pool We enjoyed the place almost at the end of the season and some services were not available, this was quite annoying as we book the place to experience all the services described. The staff has been friendly but they could do better. Restaurant was good even if we can only had a la carta menu as the buffet was not available. Attached to the jetty pier. Spa was ok, staff very kind even I would recommend this place for relaxing couple trip"

"Das Zimmer war okay, was die Sauberkeit anging. Jedoch wurde ich bei der Ankunft direkt von einer Ameisenstraße begrüßt die durch das Zimmer verlief. Dies ließ sich jedoch mit ein wenig Mückenabwehrspray an den Türen bewerkstelligen, dadurch wollten sie wohl nicht mehr in durch den riesigen Türspalt in das Zimmer kommen. Leider ist die Lage katastrophal für Menschen mit leichtem Schlaf, da die ortsansässige Moschee ca 50 Meter Luftlinie von der Unterkunft entfernt liegt und man JEDEN Tag zwischen 5 und 5:30 Uhr lautstark durch den Imam geweckt wird. Zusätzlich hatte ich das Pech auf der, der Moschee zugewandten Seite des Gebäudes im 2. Stock untergebracht worden zu sein, was den Lärmpegel noch einmal vervielfacht hat, da eine Schalldämmung quasi nicht vorhanden war. Für Alleinreisende sei noch angemerkt, dass es extrem aufwändig ist vom Village zum Long Beach (wo ein bisschen was los ist) zu kommen, da man Solo immer für 2 Personen zahlen muss. So muss man soch durchgehend durchfragen ob man irgendwo mit auf ein bereits gefülltes Boot hüpfen kann. Der sogenannte ”Boardwalk” zum Long Beach ist durch jahrelange Wetterextreme, sowie Verwahrlosung durch die Anwohner zu einem extrem schlecht begehbarem und zugewuchertem 45 minütigen ”Jungle Walk” verkommen was auch nicht ungefährlich ist, gerade ohne festes Schuhwerk, oder gar in der Dunkelheit. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Alles in allem lieber direkt eine Unterkunft am Long Beach buchen, solange nicht massiv in allen Bereichen nachgebessert wird."

"Resort Stay Review— My overall stay at this resort was great, and I would definitely consider returning with my extended family. Arrival & Ferry Service— The complimentary ferry service from Fairfield Kuala Besut to Perhentian Island and back was a nice touch. We were provided with free drinks, and the waiting area at the restaurant or lobby was comfortable and convenient. Birthday Surprise— This was a birthday trip for my husband, and I truly appreciated the effort put into decorating our room and providing a complimentary birthday cake. It made our stay extra special! Room & Privacy— The room itself was spacious and comfortable, but it lacked privacy as it was clearly visible from the pool opposite (Room No. 2048). I requested a room change to a more private space but, unfortunately, received no response. Cleanliness & Housekeeping Issue— On the second day, I found a dead animal stuck on the daybed’s blind. Since I wasn’t using the blind, I left it there as we were checking out the next day. However, I was disappointed with the front desk’s response when I reported it upon checkout. The receptionist simply said, “Oh, we will ask them to see and remove it,” without offering an apology or even a simple thank you for informing them. For a five-star hotel, I expected better hospitality and professionalism. Dining Experience— • Breakfast Buffet: The breakfast buffet was fantastic, with a wide variety of options to choose from. I especially loved the nasi lemak—the sambal was just right, not watery or overly sweet. There were also plenty of desserts and even ice cream, which was a nice surprise! • In-Room Dining: The food was delicious and well-presented, but it wasn’t very warm upon arrival. It would be great if they could serve it hotter or use a warmer. • Restaurant Dinner: I ordered grilled beef, grilled prawns, and fish, and all were absolutely delicious! Facilities & Environment— The resort’s facilities were excellent—top-notch in every aspect. I especially loved the romantic beach area, though the climb to reach it was a bit tiring. Still, the view and experience were worth it! Late Checkout & Departure— A big plus was the complimentary late checkout at 4 PM, which aligned perfectly with the ferry departure time. This was really convenient and appreciated. Final Thoughts— Despite a few minor issues, I truly enjoyed my stay. The resort offers a wonderful experience, great food, and excellent facilities. I would definitely return with my extended family for another trip!"

"This resort is wonderful place to stay in a very good budget compared to other resorts around. The room was pretty clean and comfortable. 24/7 air conditioning and water heating facility available. The hotel staff was super kind and friendly. You can enjoy drinks at the bar with Akmal and gossip with nice music ❤️ They serve amazing food and offer snorkeling trips , boat taxis, kayak and other facilities."

"Everything is great, the service is good, the sea is super, a stunning view of the sunset in the evening, a great place for family holidays and snorkeling. It is quiet and calm at night, during the day you can sunbathe on your beach, eat and swim, snorkel, jump from the pontoon. We saw a small shark, a stingray and all sorts of other fish. But you need to understand that this is living nature and jungle, a lot of mosquitoes, cool views of large geckos that scream at night)) and all sorts of creatures sometimes get into the houses. From this beach you can take a taxi to the islands and other beaches. And also wander along the walking paths around the island, there is an exit to each beach."

"I stayed at Bubu Villa for my family trip - with my wife and 2 teenagers. Bubu Villa is well located at the end of Long Beach and it is one of the best places to stay in Pulau Perhentian. The staffs were very friendly, facilities were well maintained, the food (both the breakfast and grill-dinner) were great as well. I would surely stay here again and I do recommend Bubu Villa to others who are looking for a premium place to stay in Pulau Perhentian."
