The entrance to the facility can be easily found following the dirt road connecting long beach to coral bay. The road starts on the further side from the pier, shortly before Seahorse Divers. Coming from long beach, you just need to walk about 50 meters to get to the entrance. The facility itself is quite large and extends from the bottom to the top of the eastern side of the hill. Depending on your room you might have to walk uphill for a couple of hundred meters.
Contrary to what I read in some reviews, at the moment there is no shop, no restaurant and there are no tours offered within the compound. Nevertheless this is not an issue due to the proximity to both beaches where you can find all needed restaurants and services.
On the positive side I want to highlight the size and the cleanliness of the room. Very important is also the fact that the mosquito nets are in good shape and inside the room I didn't encounter any mosquitoes at all.
The resort itself is kept in a good shape, the maintenance team works daily on minor building renovations and path cleaning.
Locals also seem to appreciate the ironing station behind the reception, next to a large common area where it's possible to connect to the internet as WiFi doesn't work in the rooms more uphill.
On the negative side the resort strictly enforces a 3 pm check-in policy, which is quite unfortunate as many guests come with the first boats in the morning. Moreover many rooms lack air conditioning. While this is clear at the moment of booking and the fans are doing a decent job, temperatures in the rooms stay high even during the night.
