Guess we lucked out at getting one of the best places to stay in PV. Very reasonable pricing, amazing and friendly staff, clean and accessible. Just what we were looking for in our trip.

AC went out every night of my stay and had to be reset externally
Wall and ceiling damage from storm flooding/ damage
Large gaps between door and floor so large insects can easily enter and as it’s in the sun the temperature is difficult to maintain without always using AC, when I entered the room on check-in it was like a sauna
Not an accessible hotel as there is no elevator but a long stairway from the lobby to the pool and then more stairways either up or down a whole floor to get to the rooms but I appreciate front desk offering to help with luggage
Bed was comfortable, pool was warm and hotel restaurant was good for breakfast and front desk was helpful to call a taxi when needed.

Gorgeous views, very clean, extremely comfortable beds, quiet surroundings. The food was excellent, the air conditioning was outstanding, the showers had hot water every time, bottled water was provided, and the staff could not have been better. Freddy is exceptional, kind, professional, and knowledgeable, he will make your day every day! I couldn’t have been happier! Town is a short taxi ride away, and so is the beach. The only down side is that the spa is closed.

This is our second time at Hotelito Patio Azul. We will be back again.
Although there are always several people staying at the property, it feels like you have the place to yourself. We spent hours in the pool with barely anyone else also taking a dip.
Service at the restaurant and pool bar is remarkable. The gentleman that takes care of the patio for breakfast was incredibly friendly and extremely attentive. The pool bar attendant made the best pina coladas, mojitos and micheladas.
I have a couple of small gripes:
- the A/C had to be restarted twice on this visit and it took a while to get the room cooled down to a comfortable temperature
- it’s super unconvenient to have to get pool towels from the lobby. These should be by the pool as is typical hotel convention.
Other than that, you really can’t beat this boutique hotel in PV for price versus amenities. We 100% will be back. Thanks!

Beautiful boutique hotel with a million dollar view from each levels. Staffs are super friendly and helpful. We would totally recommend it and definitely will come back again!

Patio Azul is one of the most peaceful hotels I’ve stayed at in all my travels. It is close enough to the downtown area that Ubers and taxis were cheap, but up the hill enough to be super quiet at night so you can just relax and listen to the ocean. I really appreciated the pool and two separate hot tubs. Their service is amazing, from the people to the food and drinks. I can’t wait to have another stay!

Gorgeous views from the pool areas. Service is with a kind warm smile and slow paced. Practice your Spanish or have a translator app ready to assist with communication. If you have any issues walking lots of stairs, this is not the place for you. Lots and lots of stairs. Walked to the romantic zone and back. Rough on the feet and knees as the hotel is wonderfully perched on the hillside. Uber recommended. Getting to the beach was more difficult than I expected after reading previous comments. Really know where you’re going because areas were blocked from construction. Recommend this place if you’re looking for great views and slow paced relaxing by the small pool.

Place is beautiful, good view to Bahía. Lack of staff to give service. Waiting time to receive even a drink in the pool was too long.
