I stayed here for 4 nights. I had a nice holiday apart from becoming ill from the dinner at the hotel. When entering my room it was spacious for myself. The only thing that surprised me was there was no fridge! It would have been nice to keep my drinks cool. Other than that the room was great. Housekeeping were also excellent. The food at breakfast was alright plenty of choice for everyone. Some foods were overcooked and dry. I booked half board and the foods available at dinner was ok but just like breakfast some foods again slightly overcooked. However during the night I became ill and had sickness and diarrhoea, this was definitely from eating the dinner as the rest of the day I felt absolutely fine. When I was better the next day I had breakfast from the hotel and ate out elsewhere in the evening and was fine. On the final day I came to my hotel room after spending last few hours in the area and noticed my keycard wasn’t working. Unaware of this it was deactivated due to checkout time being at 12pm. I was unaware of this until asking reception to activate my card again. One of the ladies at reception was quite rude she said jet2 (who I used) should have told me, I said it was more yourselves some form of communication about this would have been nice. The hotel is beautiful especially looking onto the pool area and seeing the palm trees. It is in a perfect distance to the beach literally across the road. If I was to stay in the area again I’d come back here but just only for bed and breakfast.

Wouldn't Recommend We have had clothes stolen from our room, to be told by reception, 'it is not possible' please advise how? Very dated and furniture dirty and thread bare, air con does not work in the rooms, you have to pay for sauna, €18 for 90 Miniutes! Most rooms face other hotels on streets not what was advertised

On arrival at 18:00 via self drive from the airport. Check in was easy, I paid to hire the room safe but that's pretty normal now. Great advice from Gabriel on parking our car for the week. We were on the 8th floor with a sea view, nice enough room but the decor was very tired and the floor laminate lifting in places. Bed was comfy enough, shower worked well. Despite being at the back of the hotel the one way road was noisey with passing traffic. No tea or coffee facility or fridge in the Sol rooms. Dissapointing for a 4*. Breakfast was a little chaotic after 08:30/08:45, both getting a lift down to the dining area and finding a clear table to sit at. The staff worked hard but not enough to clear tables, often resulted in supervisors running around, collecting plates, and shouting at the staff to work faster. This could be solved by using a simple trolly to collect empties in quantities rather than by the hand load. Breakfast was normal buffet style, warmed mass prepared food. We only did B&B so ate out most of the time, plenty of places not far to walk to for dinner. There is very limited shade around the pool, also fewer sun loungers than guests. Of course the morning ritual of early risers claiming sun loungers with their towels, books and bags was the order of the day! Evening entertainment normal resort style acts. Just lacking a little finesse to be worthy of the 4 star rating. But its not a terrible place to stay.

Stayed here for 5 nights and had a really pleasant stay. My room was clean and tidy although slightly dated but that didn’t bother me. My only disappointment with the room was how long it took for it to be cleaned but with so many rooms, I kind of expected this. Some days it wasn’t finished until nearly 4pm which wasn’t great on the one day where it was cloudy and cool. Breakfast was bedlam trying to find a free table but the food was nice enough and always being replenished if it was running low or had run out. I can’t comment on the evening meals as I didn’t have any as it wasn’t included in my room price. The pool area was good with plenty of sun loungers, you have to use towels provided by the hotel to stop reserving but that didn’t stop some people at the crack of dawn. The pool bar was good with plenty of drinks and some really nice food! The staff were also all very friendly.

We had a very nice holiday in this pleasant hotel facing the sea. This is not the sunniest part of Tenerife and a balcony overlooking the bay is a big plus should the weather be disappointing. The staff were all efficient and approachable - small problems dealt with quickly. The hotel is described as 4 star but really if that is the case, all rooms should have tea making facilities and a free to use safe, not just the Luxe ones, and the main pool should be heated until April or May. - only;a few tough people went for their daily dip! Plenty of choice at mealtimes with lots of fish dishes. The hotel really needs to look at the lift situation - three small slow lifts are not really enough for a hotel of this size.

Short half board break with family (adults). A warm welcome on arrival, just after dining room closed (our shuttle was late); we weren’t given anything to eat or drink even though we paid for dinner in 1st night so that was disappointing. Room was spacious with nice pillows & a modern spacious bathroom with ample toiletries. Frontal sea view room well worth it. Could hear the sea & the odd bit of traffic but overall nice & quiet. I think a kettle should be standard in the rooms (they are only in xtra rooms). Bacon was too fatty for my taste but breakfast was generally really good with plenty of choice. Cava is included with breakfast which was very popular if a bit unusual! Dinner also a good choice with the grill being popular. Not enough selection of veg for me but salad bar is plentiful. Drinks are not expensive & you can pay as you go it charge to the room. The bar is cosy with some reasonable entertainment. Ballroom dancing is popular. The pool bar serves some nice food, in particular the burger was fantastic. The outdoor pool is NOT heated but there are lots of sun loungers, lifeguard, pool towels & plenty of seating. The spa is brilliant at 18e for 90 minutes & IS heated. We didn’t have a treatment but used the sauna, steam room, jacuzzi & pool. The water keys were great on a problem shoulder. It’s clean with towels, flip flops, water & cap provided. You do have to book at the spa reception, we booked the day before. The hotel is on a good position opposite the sea & a short walk to shops & bars - the cafe Paris is lovely. There is a supermarket & shopping centre over the road, much cheaper than the mini market! We went to the botanical gardens which is with a visit a 3e - it’s up a steep hill but it’s a nice area with lots of eateries if you feel like making an afternoon of it. We didn’t go to the lido but it looked lovely. I’m not sure about hm going in the height of summer as it was busy when we went but not over crowded. I don’t know what some people expect really, perhaps they are trying to get money back but for me there was very little to moan about. I would suggest to the hotel to consider kettles in rooms & ensure there is something (cold buffet or sandwiches) for late arrivals. The hotel itself is well finished & clean, the staff are very friendly & helpful & speak English well. I would return in a heartbeat, we had a wonderful time.

Like people said before the rooms are dated but clean and good pillow. We had two balconies but the traffic below....not for us. Tenerife is general is overloaded Unfortunately not a lot of sunshine around the pool. Not enough staff at Breakfast or Dinner. The hotel is too big and can't cope with all the guest. The food was not labled properly or labeled at all. Pretty bad when you need to know what you are eating. Sometimes the kitchen staff couldn't refill certain food items fast enough and you had to ask for more. The Vegetables were good. Salad alright. Gambas/king prawns a disaster. Ok but would not go again.
