This hotel is the most impressive hotel I have ever stayed in. It has a perfect garden, a Michelin restaurant inside, and the rooms are surprisingly big. Everything is very good!

The hotel service is very good and the environment is beautiful. The service quality is directly proportional to the price

My husband and I visited and dined at Borgo Santo Pietro while we were in Tuscany to photograph a wedding. The property is everything a 5 star hotel should be. We were thoroughly impressed with the attention to detail, the well-curated antiques, and the charming yet relaxing environment. Dinner at the Trattoria was just as delightful and the service was impeccable. We absolutely will be back.

Where to start? This place is pure magic! It manages to feel at once homely, warm, relaxing and friendly - a home from home ( we wish ) whilst also offering up total luxury - every detail is thought of and every need is seen to. It’s a very special experience, the staff are wonderful and can’t do enough for you treating you like VIP’s, the setting is stunning and you can lose yourself in the many nooks and gardens corners where you can curl up with a book or just unwind. Reconnect & listen to nature - good food, lots to explore - I can’t recommend it enough. We will be back

I’ve stopped reviewing hotels for years now but I feel like I needed to write about the service at Borgo Santo Pietro, so that they can look into it. Borgo Santo Pietro is the kind of hotel I have always loved to stay. Rustic-luxe, working farm, antique furnishings, lots of greenery, comfortable room, great food, and a fabulous spa that melts your body mind and soul. I have stayed at numerous top tier hotels similar to this over the years, for example Heckfield Place in England, Soho Farmhouse etc We were warmly welcomed by the owners Claus and Janette as soon as we got off from the helicopter, and had a lovely Florentine marbled making workshop with them. There’s a helipad in BSP so it is very nice and efficient. The hotel, surrounded by farmland and filled with stunning gardens and ponds, completely blew us away by its charm and beauty. The two connecting suites we stayed were simply fab. Extremely comfortable beds and linens, lovely touches here and there, in room floral bath prepped after our spa treatments. And oh yes, the SPA! It’s definitely one of the best I’ve ever been to. The 3 hours facial and massage I had with skillful Sara was everything I needed and beyond. Trattoria sull’Albero, the more casual restaurant as opposed to the 1 star’s Saporium, is better and less stuffy in my opinion. The manager (sorry didn’t get his name) knows his stuff and is the most well trained staff among all staff members in the hotel. He’s warm, friendly and professional. Food was excellent at Trattoria sull’Albero. Speaking of service. Was very let down when the reception staff asked for tips right after him showing us the rooms. I usually tip big but got very disgusted (and honestly shocked) being asked so, especially at a hotel in such high calibre. The beginning of our stay was spoiled by him. And guess what, he asked for tips again the moment we checked out. I did eventually tip the bell boys, not as much as I usually would tho, and definitely did not tip this reception guy. Why? Because tips are meant for great service. Capiche? First night was frustrating - power went out many times and came back on many times. So in between 11pm to 4am the lights went on and off more or less than 15 times. Tried calling the reception but failed to connect due to power outage. Talked to the staff the next day, all she did was brushing it off. Fortunately it got stable the second night. Well so, BSP was bittersweet for us. It’s a shame when the experience was ruined by lack of training, or sometimes just by 1 or 2 staffs, at such magnificent establishment. Sad and disappointing indeed.

Great great experience. A beautiful property, great staff , nice walking areas around it . The farm and animals added a nice charm. We loved the food, the tranquille ambience, hotel cats, everything was great. The only thing they need to improve is the concierge service ( one of them was not very responsive ) and had limited options to suggest even though the area around the property has lots of things to do. Yet, we would be happy to go back. Take care of the cats . And really the food is superb .

It was absolutely beautiful. I can’t imagine not visiting the grounds while being anywhere near the property! It is an absolute must for anyone looking to spend a romantic Holiday in the beautiful scenic Tuscany. I adore the staff, the grounds and the bartender George’s exceptionally hand crafted drinks! He was an absolute blast! Eleonora was exquisite and prompt. She gave some of the best service I’ve ever seen. Cheers to a beautiful holiday.

Having stayed at some of the world's top hotels & resorts, Borgo Santo Pietro is an uncontested current favorite. My husband and I stayed at Borgo for 3 nights as part of a 17-day honeymoon, and it was the highlight of our trip. I'm always suspicious of the IG vs. Reality factor when traveling, but as stunning as Borgo looks online, it's even better in real life. Every inch of this property is impeccable and otherworldly. I had that 'pinch-me' feeling the entire time we spent there. The attention to detail here is immaculate, and there is so much to discover. One very unique factor is how the many secret gardens make it feel completely private and all yours. We were at Borgo for 3 nights without leaving the property once and I wished we could stay a week, if not forever. The housekeeping was incredible, as were the activities and the Spa. Shout out to Tommy for a fantastic property tour, and to the Spa staff for the best treatments of our lives. I've seen older reviews reference clunky service, but from my experience, it seems this has been mostly worked out. There were a few times we needed to find the staff to order drinks or food at the pool, but overall, the service was wonderful, and it truly didn't matter in the grand scheme of the experience. If you need me, I'll be busy dreaming about Borgo until I have the chance to return.

This was our fourth stay at BSP over the years and once again our stay was absolutely perfect. The beauty of the surroundings never fails to amaze and the breakfast here remains the best I have ever had in any five star hotel. The latest garden villas are beautifully furnished (we stayed at two - Casa Ellen and Maggiorana) and stylistically a joy to behold. I’ve started using their some of their skincare products regularly after our stay last year and can highly recommend the line. In terms of activities, we’ve had the good fortune to try out most of what they offer over the years. My favorite was probably the pasta making class. The pizza making class is also fun and guests should definitely do a property tour to fully appreciate the surroundings. We’ve also gone on a cheese making demonstration, enjoyed a picnic, and gotten massages at the spa. They organized a wonderful truffle hunt followed by lunch and wine tasting for us this year. A good portion of the food that you’re served is sourced locally or from their own property so the quality of the produce is very high. They make their own olive oil and balsamic vinegar now which are both delicious. They expect to start bottling their own wine from next year. Looking forward to our next visit!
