"A very beautiful villa, but not the newest. The pool wasn't very clean; we asked for it to be cleaned and then left. When we returned, nothing had changed, but they said it had been cleaned. When I complained that it was still dirty, they said they were setting aside a special day for a full cleaning. However, we swam in the pool on the first day, when it was even cleaner. The interior design is very beautiful, and the receptionist was very helpful."

"Great hotel, close to the beach and port, also lots of bars and restaurants which are walking distance. Room itself was good, shower was partial outside so it got warm, humid as soon as you come out the shower you’re hot again, also the shower had a little mould between the tiles. Bed was comfy, restaurant for dinner was good, I did book breakfast but we never went for three nights. Staff were helpful, laundry service was fast, pool was nice. Sadly no gym, but overall was good and would stay here again!"

"This hotel is really great! It offers excellent value for money. It's beachfront, with the beach and boats just across the road. The rooms are decent, although we ended up with one right at the very end of the hotel, so it was quite a walk to get there, but that wasn't a problem. Breakfasts are good, with plenty of options. We only used the large pool, which was fantastic and clean; there's also a deeper pool (2.2m) for diving. The grounds are beautiful, and there are lots of cafes and bars nearby, but we had dinner at the hotel's restaurant. The prices there were more reasonable than elsewhere. Every evening, there's also a BBQ dinner on the beach for 250k per person (drinks not included), where they grill seafood right in front of you. It was charming. For excursions, we took a 5-hour snorkeling trip around the Gili islands, which we enjoyed. The hotel also offers bike rentals for half a day (25k) and a full day (50k). The bikes were a bit worn from age, but comfortable to ride – we cycled around the entire island on our first day. On the second day, we rented a scooter for 150k for half a day. We didn't ride the horses; we felt sorry for them. Overall, everything was superb! We'll definitely be back to Gili T next year!"

"The room served its purpose for resting. The hotel's beach was beautiful, but the AC was too cold; I had to turn it off. Renting a scooter really boosted the vacation vibe. The hotel's beach is low tide in the morning, so you can do some beachcombing. The evening beach movie was nothing special. And here's the main point: if you want to connect with European or American girls, definitely head to Gili T! Don't hesitate to strike up conversations at the bars late at night."

"## Amenities: The facilities are complete. The only downside is that toothpaste and toothbrushes weren't provided. Since I was only staying one night and hadn't brought any, it was awkward not being able to brush my teeth in the morning. ## Cleanliness: Very clean, with a strong disinfectant smell. The outdoor shower is private, with no tall buildings overlooking it. There were some small ants and lizards among the greenery around the private mini-pool. ## Environment: The island is quiet and safe. The hotel entrance on the island is easy to find. In the evenings, there are small pubs on the island with a romantic atmosphere. The grilled corn is absolutely delicious, brushed with coconut oil, subtly sweet and fragrant – about 12 RMB per cob. Breakfast is served by the sea, looking out at the blue ocean, which put me in a great mood. ## Service: The staff at the front desk were very enthusiastic, helping with check-in, carrying luggage, and giving safety tips. We were three people, and they promptly added an extra bed, neatly made up, all with big smiles and a warm, friendly attitude."

"This was a treat as it’s a birthday celebration but it soon turned into a series of unfortunate events. The service and staff are amazing but their rooms have a serious bug problem. We woke up in the middle of the night to find our pillows covered with winged bugs that looked like ants, they were in the pillow and on the pillow, upon inspection there were more on the headboard and on the sofa by the window. We started to also notice dust piles on the floor in the room too, so we suspect they are eating at the wood. It was pretty alarming to find and have bugs crawling on your bed and we soon found out it was on our bags too. A staff member was quick to come to our room to inspect but the main team have already gone home. They allowed us to switch rooms but it looks like the problem is in the other room too. By the bed, more dust piles and on the sofa more bugs. It’s midnight so we sprayed the bed with bug spray and hope no more will crawl on us. As well as this their sink was blocked. We are both adventurous people, slept in the rainforest before, camped etc so we are not scared of bugs but when these could be termites or carpenter ants, our biggest worry is bringing them home. It’s not a nice situation for them either given their buildings are 200 years old. The next morning comes and the situation was not handled like a luxury hotel would. No one came to speak to us about it and no apology until I mentioned it at reception. The room they moved us to was also a smaller one so we effectively paid for a bigger room that we couldn’t stay in, this also wasn’t mentioned. There were positives like free bike usage, good cocktails, board games in lobby and a clean pool but I wouldn’t say this is a luxury hotel but more like a 3 star hotel with a 5 star mask. All in all, a birthday that wasn’t a treat."

"A wonderful hotel and the people who work there. The hotel has its own restaurant and tables on the beach. Free sun loungers are also available. The room is always clean and there is hot water in the shower. The location is excellent – ​​away from the port, not too noisy, but all the bars and restaurants are within walking distance. Turtles are seen on the beach almost every morning. We even considered staying on the island and extending our stay at this hotel, but everything was already booked."

"The hotel is clean and the staff is polite and warm. The only great issue we found was that the food took forever to arrive when ordered and the chairs and sun beds were old and dirty. But the location and cleanliness are perfect. If they can fix those issues, this place would be perfect for a quiet stay in Gili T. There are surfing and snorkeling activities available right in front of the hotel, which is located basically on the beach. Great place for the price!"

"No hot water!!! We booked a panda cottage, they took us across the road to the Gihon cottage, the rooms there are large, but empty, there is nowhere to even hang things, no place to dry things. Well, the main minus is no hot water. The pool is small, very warm, the main one is also not very, they allowed us to use the pool in the panda cottage. The breakfast is meager 2 eggs and 2 breads. Or 1 pancake"
