Six Senses Krabey Island

Not worth it! The stuff is really amazing and helpful, however the place is not worth visiting. The nature, beach and activities are below average and do not match the luxury price the resort is charging. It is also near to a kinda port so you will see cargo ships passing near the island. You can see rubbish floating in the water around the island as well. The food is also average and overpriced. A papaya salad cost 20USD. For comparison it worth 2.50USD on the mainland. Another example, the resort car service ask 90USD for 30km ride. For comparison, the taxi from Phnom Penh to Angkor Wat with a distance of 320km worth 80USD. On my personal opinion, there is noting much to see and do on the island, and definitely nothing that justify the price.

We had a fantastic holiday and would highly recommend Six Senses Krabey Island. All the staff were brilliant, warm, welcoming and went the extra mile to meet and exceed expectations. They were particular kind and engaging with our six year old son, for example showing him a monkey on the island and different plants and flowers. The water in the pool and sea was warm, even at night and we really enjoyed the plankton tour and morning hike. We definitely plan to return.

Our visit to Six Senses Krabey Island was nothing short of extraordinary, and it could rank as one of the best hotels we have had the privilege of visiting. The island itself is a masterpiece, with every aspect thoughtfully designed to enhance its natural beauty and privacy. The staff played a pivotal role in our stay, consistently going above and beyond with their friendliness and dedication to ensuring our experience was flawless. The 'Hideaway Villa' was a highlight of the trip and the most beautiful hotel rooms we've ever stayed in. Offering complete privacy and a beautiful private pool, the villa became our personal retreat, where we spent most of our time. The photos hardly do it justice. The hotel's main building housed an exceptional restaurant and bar, providing stunning sunset views that complemented the exquisite dining experience. We didn't spend a lot of time at the beach, but it offered numerous activities. We particularly enjoyed a stand-up paddle session around the island, which offered a unique perspective of its layout. The spa facilities were also fantastic, adding another layer of relaxation to our stay. The massage was delightful, and we had the opportunity to use other well-maintained and quiet amenities like the steam room, sauna, and hot tub. During our visit, the 'Tree' restaurant was not open, so our only wish was for a bit more incorporation of Cambodian-style cuisine in the dining experience. Overall, Six Senses Krabey Island stands out as a true island paradise, combining luxurious comfort with natural beauty and exceptional service.

Super nice people and place! I love people here the most. The great smile, friendly greeting and arrangements made my stay so wonderful. Actually it’s my honeymoon trip! This became unforgettable trip. Thanks for all the good memories. Second, I like the foods here. Chefs are smart I think. The tastes are good to both local and international guests.

We enjoyed a beautiful 3 nights at Six Senses Krabey Island. Travelling from Ho Chi Minh City was seamless, with direct flights to Sihanoukville (KOS). The driver was waiting with a smile at the airport for the short (10 minutes or so) journey to the mainland jetty. The boat ride to reach the island itself is just another pleasant minutes. The warm welcome received at the airport continued as we arrived at the island jetty to be greeted by the General Manager and his team members. We did a lovely ‘arrival ritual’ by spreading water on a tree to signify growth and prosperity. The villa was beautifully secluded surrounded by jungle yet easy to reach by foot from the main reception area. We walked mostly but buggies were readily available too. The food was exceptional for each meal and I particularly loved the coconut pancakes for breakfast! Spa and wellness play a big part in the resort. We enjoyed a locally inspired Cambodian treatment and made use of the extensive wet facilities. The Alchemy Bar is spacious and the Experience center by the beach had plenty to keep us occupied. There was a ‘guest gathering’ during our stay which was a lovely way to meet fellow guests and enjoy the stunning sunset (each sunset when we were there was beautiful). Although the beach may be considered small, it was perfect for relaxing at and had a gorgeous breeze. Service from the team was so friendly and relaxed. We enjoyed learning more about the Cambodian culture too from passionate team members. Overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable trip and can only highly recommend Six Senses Krabey Island as a must during your trip to Cambodia. Thank you!

We spent with our family a couple of days on this beautiful island at Six Senses. They have perfectly blended the resort into nature and go a long way in terms of sustainability. Highest level of hospitality, truly taking care of its guests, we enjoyed every moment. Outstanding SPA, great gym, very effective sessions with the visiting practitioner Sherab Lhundroup, great arrangement by C Scholka, and a perfect host GM Mr Shrestha, many thanks- we truly enjoyed the time with you!

We had the most stunning experience at this resort from the point we arrived until the moment we left. It was heaven on earth!! The place was absolutely beautiful and the service just made it for us. We were taken care of by Ana who welcomed us when we arrived and made our stay phenomenal by being available on message throughout our stay. She helped us with booking activities, dinners, she tailored the stay for our children to make sure we had the best time. The GM Ateeb took interest and care in our wellbeing and our stay and interacted with us and our children daily. The staff in the restaurant took so much care of our dietary requirements (Tak especially) took great responsibility in making sure we got exactly what we liked every single day for breakfast. The yoga teacher was fantastic, so were the staff in the Watersports area. I hope I have not left anyone out but have only good things to say about our stay. Six Senses on Krabey island is paradise itself. This tiny lush island hotel is an escape away from an escape. Secluded, private and luxurious. We stayed here for 3 nights. Our villa was luxurious with everything simply perfect. We had bubbles chilling in our villa in arrival with snacks and a cheese plate which was a treat. The staff are so friendly and helpful and smiling all the time. Spa is great, we had a couples massage. Food is delicious and the menu has a variety to suit all tastes. Would definitely recommend.
