Family-friendly Hotels in Praslin Island

The Sea View Lodge is a marvel. Our fully equipped self-catered apartment was nested in a tropical botanical garden rich in flowers, humming birds, geckos, bulbuls birds, warblers, myna birds, and big Seychelles tortoises. The lodge is safe. It also has a swimming pool, little bar and restaurant. All with a stunning view the bay. Sometimes, we sat by the sea on their beach chairs for sunset. We went snorkelling around the corner on the right of the bay. They was some nice coral and a wide variety of fish. We also went for walks up the hill or sometimes along the little road. The rooms are clean and the staff friendly and efficient. The beds are comfy and the white sheets nice and clean. We cooked in the kitchen as if we were at home and used washing machine. The owner, Barry, is a personality. He cares lovingly of his little paradise. We were very happy and felt at home away from our home. Some guests came to stay for weeks and months. Possession beach is a small quiet fisherman’s beach. No crowds, beach boys, shops and noisy tourist restaurants here. That’s why we staid there. A little road runs along the beach. The inexpensive public bus can take you to Anse Lazio beach or to Côte d’Or beach, the two main white sand swimmable beaches on this side of the island. The same bus can take you to the national park or the other side of the island. For more freedom and to visit the island, we rented a small car directly from the hotel. All reliable, friendly and simple. We went shopping in the local little grocery shop called Heyday about 2 km away. They had all we needed. For us, this place is a discovery, a new home, and we feel blessed for the time spent there.

From Banyan Tree Mahe to Raffles Praslin, the villa's swimming pool is much smaller and farther away from the sea. The ocean view room booked can indeed see the sea, but it is covered by trees, but The beach is nice, the public swimming pool is very large, and you can see many beautiful big fishes. The restaurant by the pool is very good. You can eat all afternoon. Simple burgers are not easy. Locals do n’t eat crabs and lobsters. They only eat Fish, but it ’s still for the guests. The hamburger with crab meat is quite delicious, but it ’s really expensive. The luxury of Seychelles is really reflected in the hotel's food and accommodation, but the blue sea, the blue sky and the huge stars at night are worth it. !!

The hotel's facilities in both the public areas and the rooms are very good, far exceeding expectations. The courtyard decoration is very special, with small bridge running water, fountain sculpture, koi fish pond and so on. The deluxe room is a newly-built building. The interior decoration is very design. The fans are remote-controlled. There are bird cage hanging chairs on the balcony. Good location, right next to Cote Dor, the longest and finest beach on Praslin Island. The bar restaurant has seafront seats, swings, etc. The scenery must be great when the weather is good. It was just that we went in the rainy season and it rained for two consecutive days. Pre-order breakfast and dinner, delicate and delicious. excellent service. Most of the guests are Europeans and Americans, and there are fewer Chinese. The disadvantage is that the pillows are a bit high, the bed creaks when turning over, and the quality of sleep is affected.

Excellent hotel, clean and spacious rooms, enough space for various activities. The food is delicious, the prices are similar to other restaurants/hotels in Seychelles. What is highly commendable is the staff, kind, always willing to help you, especially Ahmed, a young guy who has a solution to every problem🙂 The whole experience at this hotel was 5+

Praslin Island is a first class hotel, golf course, garden, restaurant are great, room facilities are good, service is first class, welcome ceremony is very moving, all aspects are impeccable, three beaches are too beautiful, especially G The beach jelly blue is too beautiful, just staying for a short time, must stay a few more days next time!

The hotel is located on the east coast, 10 minutes drive from the port, and there is a parking space in the yard. The hotel's main entrance is next to the sea. The park has nice green plants, a swimming pool, a children's area and an adult area of 1 to 2.5 meters. The interior decoration of the room is somewhat old, but it is relatively clean. At that time, it should be considered as a medium-to-high-end decoration. Hotel service is very good, after check-in, there is a staff dedicated to the room to send the key, and introduce the function of each room and related security matters, but also specifically help us take the bag back to the room from the car. Great apartments! In total, the hotel has one separate villa and a two-storey building with four rooms. We lived in a building on the second floor overlooking the sea. The room is very good, spacious, clean, freshly renovated. A separate feature is a huge terrace, we had dinner and breakfast on it. And in the evenings they drank wine and admired the sea. The room has everything you need. To the sea 10 meters, but it is better to go to the famous beaches. You can't go to Praslin without a car. Not big, but beautiful, well-kept area. Excellent location. The road on Praslin goes in a circle, so it is convenient to go both ways. Close to the pier. In general, I liked everything. I recommend!!!
