The room is clean and it is very convenient to have a kitchen in Australia. There is a market opposite the hotel and transportation is convenient.

My partner & I went to this hotel on the recommendation of the owner of our air Bnb nearby. Clare was our first contact & the drinks service was sharp & refreshing. We both had fish, salad & chips. Generous serving of yummy battered fish fillets, chips were crunchy as we like & green salad adequate as palate cleanser. Thank you to Clare for her service & the hotel for a great 1st night start to our Aussie Open Tennis.

Location is excellent. A short walk to both ends of Acland St and late evening food available at several spots. Room was very clean but bedside tables needed an extra wipe down. Great selection of quality tea and coffee on offer. Tram noise is definitely audible from early a.m. but if you’re looking for a city experience, it just sits in the general hum of urban Melbourne sounds. Front Desk shuts 8pm sharp, so be aware of this as Trip will not pass out your contact details for reception to call you and confirm this info. Needed to contact reception after we got into our room: no answer. After ringing 3 times, gave up. Be aware, when the Cosmo takes your $150 room deposit, they charge you 2.5% which they don’t refund ($3.75). This is very dodgy business practice (illegal, we believe) and we told them we would contact Consumer Affairs, as they also refused a cash payment alternative to avoid this fee (due to Covid). The senior receptionist was very understanding and kindly overrode the fee, but it is something to be very aware of. Tarnished what was, essentially, a great stay in a good value hotel.

The Deluxe room we were allocated was possibly the worst view you could get for the most expensive price you could pay. We were allocated a room ( 210) directly opposite the lifts and in the room out view consisted of overlooking a persons apartment and as they were having drinks on the balcony and we were maybe 2metres away from that building there was zero privacy . The curtains were very fine materiel so in order to have some distance between us and them we were forced to keep the heavy drapes closed all day and night . This made the small room very claustrophobic, the windows don’t appear to be doubled glazed so on the lower levels you can hear the bins being emptied and the general rough and tumble of the lower laneways and the residents in the adjacent building having late night drinks . When we enquired about moving rooms we were offered a room two doors down . The annoying thing was they said they were fully booked so there was no rooms on higher floors we could move too . A quick check on Wotif revealed that there were actually rooms available that you could book so there were vacancies , but l guess it was better to hold them open to get top dollar rather than to accommodate current guests who’d paid upfront 2months prior . I would have moved current guests who had a legitimate concern if it had been me making the decision as a gesture of support, but l guess they weren’t to concerned because we’d paid already but that type of contempt for guests who chose to stay in good faith wears thin . Not a pleasant stay wouldn’t recommend and will be happy for a refund !

I booked 10 nights at Pullman Albert Park, and got upgraded into privilege room. It was a pleasant stay. It shares the same facilities (restaurant, gym, pool etc) with Mercure, but it felt more like you're in Mercure than in Pullman. The hotel is a short tram trip to CBD. The tram stop is within walking distance, so it was convenient. I love that it is facing the Albert Park lake, such a vibe! The building is a bit old, but the room was still comfortable. The service was very good, everyone was really friendly. The only downside was that they looked understaff. I had to carry my own luggage when I left, and not many staff were present especially in the restaurant. But, everyone was very helpful! This hotel offers good value for longer stay. It's a perfect place if you want to explore more local activities such as: visiting the markets, exploring the surrounding (you can go to Royal Botanic, National Gallery of Victoria, Shrine of Remembrance), or going to the beach. I stayed two nights in Feb 23. I stood behind the world's longest check in for demanding guest. Said guest returned to reception within 2 minutes with photos of his room and demanding a change. This made me a tad concerned but no need. Reception staff were very polite. My room was as expected. It was neat and tidy and the bed was wonderful, great linen. TV was modern and excellent. Air con great. Bathroom is out of date, but clean and no issues. Meals are good. Good vibe on the hotel ground floor with a bar which was well frequented. Clearly the hotel is overdue for a refurb and the prices could be lower to reflect that but it is still worth staying at. I would stay again.

Good place the travel is easy with sky-bus and cheep just $24 from Airport to city centre The bus is coming every five minutes I am interested at ARBS 2022 in Melbourne to visit the Air conditioning.Refrigeration Building Services Exhibition

I travel as family of 5 people with kids. Surprisingly clean big room with 2 bed room. Comfy beds. Large weardrobe. Spacious living room, and perfect kitchen and balcony. Downstairs have mini market, At the back is China Town area.. Basically easy for foodies and quiet area. But, WiFi is bad 😓, cannot work online. And the lift is on maintenance for couple of months, so we need to queue up. Overall is great.. Will surely comeback 🙏😁

We didn’t look to the hotel for more than just a bed for the night, so didn’t check out the other facilities. The bed was comfortable, the shower was nice, and the room was set up in a modern and pleasant way. The room has most of what you need but it is very small, with very little space to even set down a suitcase. I would have preferred access to a full size ironing board rather than a desktop one.
