Hotel Duo

Prague|2.06km from Knihovna Václava Šorela
First impressions of the hotel were good despite the hotel looking shabby as it claims to be 4 star the reception staff were very welcoming during check in, however everything went downhill from there. My room was not ready by check in so I was told to wait and the reception staff I had to deal with subsequently was very unprofessional and patronising, answering a phone call and talking for 10 minutes in the middle of issuing my room keys leaving me standing there despite me telling him I was tired from the journey. The hotel corridor leading to the rooms looked grim and depressing. Surprisingly on the plus side, rooms were much nicer and clean. On the other hand, no toiletries were provided despite being claiming to be a 4 star hotel. The hand wash/shower gel/shampoo seemed to be the same liquid and the only toiletry provided. The bed frame was undoubtedly a double but made up with two single mattresses which doesn’t make much sense. Everything else in the room was decent. The facilities the hotel were subpar as well, the gym was full of old rusty equipment, whilst not the best gym it is better than a lot of hotel “gyms”. The pool however, was closed due to “technical reasons” is what it said on the notice, very convenient. The room-keeping staff on checkout day were very unprofessional, barging into the room without knocking from 8AM and following up a couple more times, despite door being chained locked. Overall, my experience at this hotel was lacking for what I consider to be 4 stars, from the staff and rooms to the amenities and facilities, I would not return.

Hotel Aura Design & Garden Pool

I did not want to enter the center of Prague for one accommodation and I gave good online opinions. Hotel Aura Prague design&garden pool is a hotel with gentle writing ambiguity. The overall appearance (almost old worker hotel) and room equipment as for Czech conditions is fine, but the opinions will determine as usual details. I'm sure the great English recipient can surprise you as in Prague and certainly on its periphery is not so obvious. The first impression of the room is also fine, but looking at the details starts to change your mind. Unseen leaks in the bathroom, on the walls incomplete poured grips, dust under the bed, clutches of unknown origin under the heater and dead moles. Most of them include ”classic” lighting, but there is one on the bed doing ”mood” (see photo). In the hotel information you can find a detailed pilot manual and a list of programs in many languages, even in Arabic, and nothing more. The hotel garden is therefore impressive and fits into the “romantic” room lighting. Breakfast is not awkward, especially the hours of service from 8 to 10 and check out from the hotel to 10.30 (!?). If someone doesn't bother such a climate, it can be for a night on the tour. I'll just add that I was out of the season so I don't know how external attractions affect the general peace of the guests who stay here.

Clarion Congress Hotel Prague

Hotel is situated nearby shopping mall. In the shopping malls is available coffee shops, food corner, bread shop , supermarket BILLA and so on. It’s very convenient. Direct from shopping malls is entrance to underground. Parallel on the streets is tram stops. With underground, or tram is very easy and quickly achievable old down town Prague. Fitness and wellness is free of charge in shopping mall. Breakfast was typical Europe style. Rooms are very well accommodate. This hotel is very well choice for staying in Prague.
Stages Hotel Prague, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

We stayed for 3 nights, 4 days. Our reason for staying was that we were attending Lewis Capaldi at the O2 (just opposite!) Prior to arrival, I had asked if they offered anything additional for my partner’s birthday. I received an email back quite promptly that I could purchase a bottle of bubbles or a cheesecake. I opted for the bubbles and asked for this to be in the room on arrival. Before we arrived, we received a notification through the Bonvoy app that our room was ready. On arrival, this was not the case. We waited for an additional 20 minutes or so, and the reception staff were very friendly and went through the city map with us. The room was spacious enough, and included a nice welcome message - though my partners birthday was not mentioned (something we had in previously hotels - so maybe something to consider?) Unfortunately the bottle of bubbles was not in the room, which was a little disappointing. Reception kindly allowed me to borrow a EUxUK adaptor. Once I had got back to the room, a member of reception had bought the bottle up. However, I was not there which ruined the surprise and whole reason I had done it. We decided to eat at the hotel restaurant. The food was okay, but the service was poor and inattentive. Before the concert, we had asked about access. We were told the hotel had a special entrance, and we’re given the necessary stickers to gain access - something we should’ve been asked & given on check-in? After the concert, we returned for a few drinks in the bar. The bar appeared to have a mixture of guests and non-guests, which was perfectly fine. However, the service was very poor. The bartenders prioritised Czech nationals and females, rather than adopting a ‘who’s next’ approach. This was also clear when table service was given to native Czechs, and not ourselves. The beds were pretty hard, though I would put this down to them being new and unavoidable. All in all, I would return if I were to be visiting a concert back to the O2. The hotel is outside of the city, but the metro is only 12 minutes away - the metro is incredibly good and extremely easy to use so this posed no issue at all.

The hotel is clean and friendly. The breakfast is neatly prepared. It is a hotel with more European travelers than Asians. The people at the desk are very friendly. The hotel location is 200-300 meters from the front and back of the hotel, and there is a large shopping mall. There is pleasure in traveling by tram. ㆍWe stayed in a suite because Desk Cheek One upgraded the room. ㆍIt was so nice and thankful to have a veranda ㆍ
