Holiday Inn Express POUGHKEEPSIE by IHG

Good hotel in a town I needed to be for a business meeting the next day. All was good with decent breakfast etc.

Hotel was cleared and staffs were very friendly. Though the complimentary breakfast options were a bit limited, they do have a pancake machine that makes fresh pancakes in front of you each morning! There were also a good variety of complimentary hot beverages offered to hotel guests all day long. The hotel is conveniently located along the local bus route. Anyone staying here and doesn't want to drive for whatever reason, the bus stop is easily accessible on foot.

Woke up early enough to try the breakfast for once and it wasn’t bad for what it was. They had a good selection of choices to have with some fresh fruits which was nice. The cinnamon rolls were very hard on the outside but the middle was soft and good flavor wise. I really enjoyed the Frosted Flakes with chocolate milk :)

I have stayed at this hotel several times. Good experience overall. MY $50 DEPOSITS STILL HAVE NOT BEEN REFUNDED FROM 12/02/25 AND 12/23/25

The room was clean, nice complementary breakfast, however, the bathtub would not hold water. Even with the stopper plug, the water drained out of the tub very quickly.
