Hotels near The Wine Shop, Positano

You have to use the stairs due to Positano characteristics, and parking is a bit inconvenient. Nice view can't be denied. It's not a hotel, it's a bnb, so be sure to recognize it and make a reservation.

The most advanced sea view room is given to the side, and is the second floor, although it is not the best view, but it is enough. If you have a good chance of checking-in at night, you will meet a funny old grandfather, very friendly, and have no service. In addition, if you have breakfast, there will be a chef uncle, very gentleman service. Breakfast is plentiful. The room was very clean but slightly simple, no kettle and coffee tea, no slippers, but who cares. The parking fee is 25 Euros a day, and there will be drivers to help you get the car back. It is very convenient.

We booked at Palazzo Margherita about 10 months before they were taken for the summer.......and so glad we did. There were 5 of us (my wife, me, daughter, her husband, and our granddaughter) and we were booked in the Galli apartment. The booking went very well and we received word immediately from Mauro about our stay. Prior to arriving, if we had questions for Mauro, our emails were answered within a day. He's very good at getting back to you with a response. If you have a car (which we did) you will need to book a spot ASAP before the spots very close to the apartment get occupied. Our stay was absolutely remarkable! The apartment had plenty of room for all of us. We had two bedrooms and our granddaughter slept on the pulled out couch. Kitchen has most of everything you need. Even a small washing machine to wash clothes and then hang on a drying rack is there, which was helpful to us. To wake up each morning and have coffee on the balcony overlooking the water and coast is just plain breathtaking! I would sit every morning just enjoying the beauty of the Amalfi Coast!! There is a small grocery store about 50 yards from the apartment which has most of anything you need, just be careful walking....the roads are very curvy and the drivers have no fear. Also, a vegetable/fruit stand is another 30-40 yards past that with some very fresh products for sale. The walk to the beach below is a trek. Lots of stairs to go down and then climb up. Its a pretty treacherous climb but my wife and I were able to do it no more than twice a day (we're both in our mid-60's). Prior to us arriving, we did book with Mauro a full day boat trip to Capri.......if you have the opportunity to do this, DO IT! It was the best part of our stay there! Mauro will take care of everything for you. It was just the five of us and Hermes (the Captain) and the trip lasted the entire day. Of course, being clear, sunny, 85 degrees, on a boat 8 hours with drinks and snacks (supplied by the Captain) sure helped make it a memorable day!! The scenery and Capri will take your breath away! We did not spend any time on the beach but there were many people there enjoying it. The restaurants and stores were very typical touristy places, pricey for the most part, but the food was pretty good. Lots of people in early June so expect the crowds. In summary, I would book again in a blink at the Palazzo Margherita. Loved the apartment, loved the views from the apartment, loved the food in the restaurants, loved the boat ride, and Mauro took good care of us. Thanks to Mauro and Palazzo Margherita for making us happy and leaving us with such great memories of Positano!!

We come to play in the off-season. There are not many hotels to choose from. When driving and navigating, we can only find directions. There is a one-way line in front of the door. We cannot park. The hotel stops at the designated parking lot. Hotel rooms are ok, ocean view rooms with small terraces, breakfasts are not many but they are good. It is still not recommended to live in Positano during the off-season. It is too depressed at night and there are few restaurants open. There is no one on the sea breeze on the street. Walking to the restaurant recommended by the hotel on the beach requires self-stories. It should be better to live in Almafi, and the surrounding Positano Ravello Suriento has enough time for the day to play

Whilst travelling along the Amalfi Coast we booked a last minute room a Villa Yiara. Already the first contact was very pleasant and professional. Although they offer their place in all booking platforms, the owner did all the data entry as i was driving and could not connect at that time. We got a very warm welcome at arrival and we were assistet with the lagguage, car parking and got gentle responses to all our questions. The personal communication is complemented by a dedicated WhatsApp number where you get continuous guidance upon request (no push strategy at all). We asked them for some nice dinner locations and received a list of nice places within all price ranges and different types of food. Exactly what you wish as a customer when you arrive at a place you do not know. The room was super clean, with very pleasant infrastructure complemented by a nice view over the Sea. We felt very much home during our stay which was complemented by a very nice, delicious and rich breakfast. We can only recommend Villa Yiara, not only because of the place but also because of the whole team working there. Give it a try - you will definitely feel at your ease in a very nice environment.

Seven of us from Canada thought this B and B was fantastic, amazing view, the grounds are well groomed. Our hosts Ana and Felix were so awesome, friendly, provided great service and very helpful. There were lots of great options for breakfast. The rooms were great, they have a mini bars, a nice little sitting area in front of the rooms that provided a beautiful view of the ocean, also, a sitting area where you can buy drinks at their bar. It was just a short walk into the main area where there was lots of shopping and restaurants. I would highly recommend this B and B for your next vacation stay.
