We could enjoy the second time this year at Hotel Villa Giulia. You were very pleased, because on May 23 the experience was more than great! For September by mail everything booked, always very friendly and clear answers from the provider. Has all worked wonderfully, the wish room was ready, the reception has received us more than friendly. The room and the wet cell more than clean for the whole week. A highlight was the breakfast buffet every day, all the fresh things. Just a wonderful entry into the day. The dinner was always just wonderful. Always very fresh, from the salad over the sea fruits over fish over ... simply said: All more than one pleasure. The service, whether for breakfast, the service at the pool bar, for dinner, simply lets the guest enjoy the time unwantedly satisfied. The environment of the buildings is not to exceed. In short, every corner can tell a story as well as the beautifully built garden facility with the maintained pool. The entire Villa Giulia team is always very careful and try to meet any desire and always stands for questions with English patience and charm. For my wife's birthday I could order a flower bouquet in advance and that could be seen. (Probably not so easy to find a great flower store in Sicilia...) Finally, we need to keep our page firm that we have still rarely felt as well as at Hotel Villa Giulia. This simply has a very big repeat factor for next year. A wonderful place to rest and recuperate after a busy few days sightseeing in Sicily! Situated on the edge of the glorious Vendicari Nature Reserve, with its flamingos and spoonbills and abundant other birdlife, Case Vendicari is elegantly appointed with charming large rooms all furnished in a quiet, tasteful style. It's in the middle of a working farm with lemon-trees and olives. Very friendly staff; delicious breakfasts; and a delightful swimming pool. The beaches within the Nature Reserve are lovely - as is the simple restaurant between the hotel and the entrance to the reserve. Noto is only 15 minutes away. A delight to have spent five days here - do go if you can!

I made buissenes trip to Pozzallo port to attend vessel. And vsl agent put me to Nautico. It is good place with good owner. Room was OK, with 3 beds and interesting painting on the walls. And also very tasty meals there. Also it was very interesting professional coffee machine there. It was needed some technical imagination to cope with it. Owner will replace it to modern. And his one could be used for museum. 😀

Having read the good reviews, we chose this hotel. From the start things did not go right. Not the fault of the owner but we were not informed that the whole road outside the hotel was dug up and with the one way system we could not get there without going the wrong way down a one way street. The hotel boasts sea views which we could just see the sea through the roadworks which were noisy! The room had a kettle but nothing to go with it like tea, coffee, milk etc, nothing. Mattress only had a thin fitted sheet over it (no mattress protector and the mattress was stained. Pillows were thin and too soft. Room etc was quite clean but it really needs updating, rickety pull across door to the bathroom. Terrace was nice and sea facing but roadworks spoilt it. The owner? was sweet and helpful but the whole place needed upgrading. We said we were getting the early Malta ferry and that we would miss breakfast which started at 7.30pm .. I thought he could have left us a couple of croissants but nothing - no where to make a cup of tea/coffee before we left. Hugely disappointed in what could be a lovely hotel..

Large and spacious room, quite comfortable bed. However, the walls of the room were very dirty and in a 4 star hotel this should not exist. Small shower with empty shampoo and shower gel dispensers: no one refilled them in the five days of our stay. So little attention. Refrigerator that didn't cool. The cleaning leaves something to be desired: there was a dead fly on the floor, which remained there for the entire stay. On the other hand, minimal cleaning was done during the quarter of an hour of breakfast. It has never happened in any hotel that while you are down for breakfast, they make up your room in such a short time! The breakfast is good, although there is not much variety, for a 4 star hotel. Friendly staff; The location of the property is good for getting around eastern Sicily. Silent area. Of course you need to have a car to get around.
