Ribeiredge Guest House

I liked the hotel, comfortable remote settlement, the hotel also didn't remove my reservation when I didn't pass authorization from the bank card, for which also thank you! The location is good, close to all the main attractions of the Porto and good transport availability. The street is very quiet, the noise isolation in the hotel is good. Smells fresh tree. No water interruptions, bed is soft, no foreign smells, on reviews waited for the worst, but the hotel is beautiful! Breakfasts can be more diverse. The place is wonderful, would return more!

Very nice apartment in the old town within walking distance of bars, restaurants, river front, train station, churches and museums. Breakfast was delivered every morning and was substantial. Cooker, microwave, coffee machine and fridge also present. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Fantastic view over the roof tops towards the river Douro. While we were there...September...they were just putting the finishing touches to an outside pool and bathing area...unfortunately not quite ready for us to make use of.

Location was great. Breakfast was free and was delicious and abundant. They also had gluten free bread and oat milk. Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly, pleasant and helpful. Arranged our pick up and drop off to and from airport(for a fee), made suggestions for sights in the area and food recommendations. Big shout out to Miguel (front desk), Alma (front desk), Andre (front desk) and Isabel, Jacinta and Martina who cooked up delicious breakfasts every morning. Book this accomodation. You wont regret it.
Porto Music Guest House

This B&B was chosen for our stay in Porto due to the great reviews and the price point it came out at. Check-In, We were warmly greeted by our host for our short stay in Porto. We had an explanation about orientation of the city and our room with a glass of port in hand. Room, We we allocated Room 1 on the first floor. This beautiful high ceiling floor comes with all the amenities for a stay. The room was found in nipping clean condition with also a small balcony overlooking the modern ‘Casa Da Musica’. The bathroom is small but nonetheless very functional with a walk-in shower. Breakfast, Breakfast was a buffet style affair with enough choices to start the day. The lady who serves breakfast, kindly made us some breakfast early on our last morning due to our early train back to Lisbon. Staff, A very personable B&B who’s staff made us very welcome. Overall, An excellent great value stay in Porto. It is easy to reach which several bus stops nearby with ‘Casa Da Musica’ tram station a 5-10 minute walk away. The location is a little outside of town, but within easy reach by public transport. There are modernisation works happening nearby with regards public transport so when these are finished, access will be even easier. A lovely stay….
Hotel Internacional Porto

First, the staff, the best part of our lovely stay here. From the warm welcome at reception from the staff who immediately come to know your face and room number when you collect your key each day, to the beautiful woman working the breakfast service who so kindly and carefully prepared us a wrapped breakfast for our very early check out. The staff are the best part of this great hotel, hands down. Smiling, helpful, I can't say enough how lovely they all were. The location is excellent, in the heart of the city and with bars and restaurants all around. The double windows do a fantastic job of keeping the noise of that out when you want too. The room was small but comfortable. I would only have very slight feedback which I hope could be constructive. The beds in our 'twin room' could only be pushed about 4 inches apart due to the fixed bedside lockers, so this is small and could be too close depending on who you travel with. The bathroom was a little rundown but clean and perfectly functional; additions of shelves or hooks to allow you to store some cosmetics in there (as the counter was very small) would be great for comfort. The pillows were strangely uncomfortable to us, but that's a personal preference. The breakfast was fantastic and again, the lady working in the mornings is a beautiful person, helpful, smiling and unfailingly good-humoured. If that's one of the first people you meet in porto, you're guaranteed to love the place. I would happily recommend this hotel and would certainly stay here again.
The Gate

I stayed at The Gate in Porto for two nights. It's in a great location, the staff is friendly and helpful and the facility is sparkling clean and comfortable. I even had a little Juliet balcony to enjoy a glass of wine before heading out for dinner. It's close to the train station and easy to hail cabs and just walk around and explore.
