3 Star Hotels in Porto

It was a very pleasant and unforgettable experience for my family to spend their weekend in this hotel. Amazing staff and service.

Arriving slightly early we were very pleased to be able to check into our room. The lady who checked us in was absolutely lovely and it was a very smooth process. We were overall happy with our room. It was usual ibis style which was fine for our short 4 night stay. Some of the walls could be done with a refresh but generally very clean. Our room was quiet and had towels refreshed every day. I was very impressed with the hairdryer mounted in the bathroom. Usually these are not the best but this one was exceptional. Very happy. Breakfast was great and had just a perfect selection to start our day. Great location and very walkable around the city. Would definitely stay here again.

They were very attentive from early check-in to check-out and kindly explained tourist attractions for me who came alone!!! The facilities were clean and the room service hamburgers were delicious :)

I moved to this property after staying two nights at the much more highly rated (not my opinion), Hilton Se Cathedral (review posted) and am so glad I did. For 165 euros, 81 euros less than the Hilton, I had a fabulous experience. This property is on a quiet street in the city centre. There is very little car traffic because the street is closed to traffic in the next block. My room was comfortable with a nice bed, walk in shower and TV with many channels in English. I am Platinum Elite with IHG and was fortunate to have a top floor room with a balcony that was as large my room and had stunning views of Porto. I slept with the balcony door open both nights and it was amazingly quiet. The staff was fine and allowed me an early checkin. Restaurants, and stores abound and is not quite as touristy as by the water about .05 mile away . Metro two blocks away easy to get to Campahana Train Station. Breakfast was more than adequate with many choices. Hot dishes were limited to eggs and bacon. One dining recommendation, also about .04 mile away, Dana Pe, De Cobra. So good I ate there twice. This is an apartment-style hotel. According to the hotel staff, the construction began in the 18th century, and the exact date is unknown. Once used as the police station archives, it shouldn't take long to transform it into a hotel. Location: Five stars, walk 2-3 minutes on the right hand to the intersection, left hand downhill is the Louis Bridge, right hand uphill 2-300 meters is the Sao Benedict Railway Station, you can go to Lisbon from this, 2-300 meters forward is the Church of St. Francis , Go to the main attractions within 1000 meters. Settings: Five-star reduction, duplex suite, full Elex wash, kitchen equipment, but less coffee. Breakfast: Four-star, three waiters make on-site, bread, ham, and egg tarts are available. It is quite family-like, not like the variety of hotels.

Reasonably priced hotel a short walk away from all the sights of Porto. No-frills but has everything you need - nice clean room, air conditioning, comfortable bed. A bottle of drinking water is refreshed every day which is very welcome. Breakfast plentiful and tasty. Staff were very busy as the hotel was full but everyone was very helpful and pleasant. A special thank you to Maria on the front desk who confirmed our taxi transfer to the airport and provided us with breakfast boxes for the journey because we left before the restaurant opened.

Great location, close to lello and clerigos and many other attractions and restaurants, and near bus stops (easy access to and from airport or train station). Comfortable beds, very spacious and bright studio apartment. The building is safe and has an elevator. However The safe didn't work. Also you have to ask the reception beforehand to change the towels or clean the apartment during the stay otherwise they won’t. The staff however did meet all our requests when asked and brought whatever we needed.

What a great place. Very comfortable. Yes there are stairs - we were on the top floor but Porto is hilly so you are well trained! We had two nights in a twin room. Comfy beds, very clean and quiet. The only downside for two friends was that there was limited privacy in the bathroom! Not terrible but could challenge some! The staff were a delight with heaps of tips. There is free cake and cookies in the afternoon, port to taste and tea and coffee machines on every floor. The breakfast is incredible- you can pick from so many things and it is all brought to your room on a trolley. The location is also great. A delightful hotel to stay in.

I dreamed to live in this type of room. Ordered earlier in Prague, it didn't work. The hotel (studio apartment) very liked. Recipeshen nearby, on the same street. The administrator is very kind, carried out, showed everything. The family room, I was alone. Upstairs sleep warmer. There's an air conditioner. The welcome portwain is very delicious! In the room everything is available: refrigerator, teapot, pans, stove, safe. I'm not in a suitcase, I was OK, but with a suitcase it will be hard to get up to the room. Hotel in the center, near the metro, supermarkets.

The location is super good, close to the Louis I Bridge. Go out and cross the road and cross a small alley to the river. Go out and turn left into a slope alley, less than 10 minutes at the main church of Porto. Go out and walk right, walking distance to Porto's famous attractions, such as the Stock Exchange Palace, the main train station, etc. There are too many places near the apartment to take pictures, especially street views. Porto in summer has a high temperature during the day, and you can come back to rest at any time. There is a small cafe on the first floor of the apartment, the menu is simple but the food is exquisite. Sitting in front of the window and watching pedestrians pass by, it is very tonal. The housekeeper is very friendly and helps with any small things. At night, street lights shine through screens into the room, the light is soft. Although the noise of passing cars can be heard on the street, it is not upset. Next time I go to Porto, I will stay here.
