Hotel at excellent prices, good rooms, well in the center of Porto Alegre , next to the cultural Mario Quintana house, close to excellent bars and restaurants options. The only disadvantage is that it has no parking or convenience, but I still recommend.

It has been the best hotel in Porto Alegre for many years. Although it has today competition from younger hotels, it is a great choice of accommodation in the left-wing capital. It is well located in the central region of the city, near the so-called historical centre. The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable, and it is very comfortable and very comfortable. All staff are responsive and careful, and I would like to highlight Luciano and Antonio from the reception, who have taken me very well from the beginning to the end of the stay.
The well-located ibis budget Porto Alegre is open to everyone. The comfortable, functional rooms sleep up to 3 people, with a/c and free WiFi. Start your day with a full breakfast at the restaurant. The 24h convenience store sells drinks, snacks and toiletries. The hotel also has an ironing room and 24h parking. Pets are welcome (charges apply).

Good for the price! Hotel is downtown near the famous “Mercadão” or the City Market. It’s an Ibis Budget and it stands to the brand, if you ever stayed in other Ibis hotels you know what to wait for! For those who have never stayed keep in mind that this hotel offers smaller bedrooms, I really don’t care depending on the kind of travel I’m taking, and in this case I just needed a clean bed and bedroom and this hotel offers this! The only problem I found was that there were no power outlets next to the bed, so I needed to charge my phone away from me. The breakfast was good and the service upon arrival was absolutely excellent! I would definitely return for the cost-benefit!

This shop is one of the most cost-effective hotels in Porto Alegre. I have stayed there every year since my business trip in 2013, because the first time I didn’t know it was in another hotel, this hotel is more suitable for business and holiday families. There is a kitchen, the breakfast is really invincible and delicious, the new restaurant moved to the street side, the street view is superb! There is a memorial park next to it, and there are various roadside fruit stalls. It is very safe and you can walk around. It feels like a small European town! The steak of the hotel is good, and the restaurant becomes a bar for drinking in the evening!

This is clearly a hotel that tries to provide a superior experience to the guest – fantastic location; very good, very well maintained room; very kind and attentive personnel; a pair of courtesy water bottles; Nespresso machine in the room... And then, everything is put to waste by a barrage of small but VERY annoying details: You arrive from the airport (counting on going to your room's restroom as soon as possible); receive your key; it works in the elevator... but not in the doorlock. You go back to the reception desk and the (authentically sorry) receptionist provides you with 2 keys, just in case (it is clearly a very common occurrence). It works, this time. Next day – not your last day of stay – you return from the workday and the keys (both of them) do not work again! Meaning it is not a problem with the keys but either a software or a human problem. When you finally get to the room, good luck if you want to call reception. Although there's a ”trendy” little prism over your bedside table informing the name of the cleaning lady of your room, there's nowhere you can find out the front desk number – it's not 0, 9, 1, * or # (it's *1, which I'm now informed is a standard in Porto Alegre; but then again, guests are usually from other places, right?). You finally get to talk to someone in the front desk, that informs you that there's no login or password to the wi-fi; you just have to fill up a form and will be logged in. You fill up the form (lots of info requests, including ID number, email etc.). Hit the ”Login” button. Comes a window: ”please check the 'accept conditions' box before connecting”. The 'accept' box is bellow the the login button AND bellow the screen line. Not only this, but all the (excessive) info you had typed in is lost – all the fields are emptied and you have to fill them up all over again. Time to checkout, it is 10:16 am and you want to have a cup of coffee before leaving. The breakfast ends at 10 am exactly and the coffee jars are probably the first to be taken away. You mention it to the checkout clerk and she gives you a free welcome (in this case farewell) drink voucher and you are able to ask a cup of espresso in the bar. This last event synthesizes the experience in the Quality Hotel: lots of effort to compensate for frustrations that could easily have been avoided in the first place, with a modicum of attention to the customer experience. I hope this feedback helps them do exactly that.
Ibis Styles Porto Alegre Moinhos de Vento offers double and single rooms, with an additional bed for one child, free WiFi and air conditioning. Breakfast and dinner are optional and serve the best in local cuisine. Excellent bar service. Dogs welcome (cha rges apply).

I booked the hotel in terms of the proximity with an excellent Indian restaurant (150 meters) and the fact that I was halfway from the airport. I was positively surprised by the decoration of the room, the comfort of the bed, the abundant water of the bathroom and the parfumed towels.
Nestled along the banks of the river in the Praia de Belas neighborhood, we offer the ideal location next to a major shopping center, corporate offices, and convention center. All the action of downtown is just four kilometers away. Take in views of the river from our infinity pool and enjoy exquisite dining in our restaurant. Host up to 600 guests in our convention meeting space.

Relatively new hotel which is kept in excellent condition. Rooms have lovely views and breakfast is excellent, although 1 day of the 5 we stayed they did struggle a little to keep up with demand. Best part: The pool! Great to finally have a outdoor pool with a view in the city! They do need to have some umbrellas though as it is South facing and the sun is relentless. Especially a concern with young children. Also the floor in the pool area is extremely slippery when you have wet feet. There is also a top quality shopping mall on site with some fabulous food choices. Staff were very good indeed! My only gripe was they ran out of English Breakfast Tea Bags so I had no tea for the last 2 days... but that's my own fault for being English!

Good accommodation, educated staff, excellent location.
The hotel offers 132 air-conditioned rooms (3 adapted for guests with reduced mobility) with free WIFI access. The Comes e Bebes restaurant and grill is open for dinner from 7pm to 10:30pm and there is a 24-hour bar and free parking.

the room has lack of maintenance (the finishes lacking among other details)... the lift was not rising up to the 4th floor, and the attendant even seeing my agony in and out of it, after I asked to magnetize my card, he clarified that the lift would undergo maintenance and had problems, that I should use the other side ... at any time I was informed that I could move through the hotel parking to Canoas Shopping (I found myself when debriding the parking patio)... the restaurant on Sundays has no kitchen, except for frozen pizzas or lasagne ... the kitchen team, bar, and cleaning are extremely careful, this fact that cannot be taken into consideration, by some people of the reception!!!

Outstanding
GGuest UserWe visited this same hotel last year and wrote a 5 star excellent review. Things changed and not for the better. Our week long stay was not entirely enjoyable. While the hotel retains some of the quality, the quality of service and room standards has gone down noticibly. Specifically, wait staff is not attentive as before and even during non peak dining hours, wait times for the first greeting and offer of a drink were long. The food was well done but taste varied between lunch and dinner, dinner being the better meal selecting the same dish. We asked 3 times for the room to be cleaned while we took a break from work. The room was not cleaned when we returned. After ordering room service, tray pick up took 3 hours. Then, when we called back to insist they remove the tray, the restaurant called our room within 5 minutes to find out where thier coffee and not milk thermos was and insisted on knowing exactly what was in the room still. We felt like inmates rather than guests. The room we were in for a week was nothing like the room on the same floor on our first trip. Cheap artificial wood TV shelves replace beautiful dressers and the room felt like a holiday inn rather than an elegant hotel like our last trip. The highlight of our stay was Rosemarie (we think) in housekeeping. She's a delight and obviously a remanent of the old days. Alberto and Taylor in the dining room were the only waiters who made us feel comfortable. One waitress moved around so quickly, we were holding our glasses to be sure they were not taken. Very nervous way of serving tables. Another waitress took so long to serve us with guests, I had to get up 3 times to find help. The bell captains were also excellent and helped greatly. (Maybe they should be put in charge of the front desk and dining room!) If you need to stay in Porto Alegre, you'll want to stay here but be prepared and if you stayed before as we did, prepare yourself for the changes in room quality and service level. Not sure what happened but it's not the same place anymore.
GGuest UserI was not bad, just overpriced. Rooms were small like an IBIS, they did have a minibar in the room. Bathroom was bigger than an IBIS. Staff nice pleasant and efficient. Breakfast included was ok nothing to rave about. Bed was really high and too firm with sheets that did not fit the bed and crumpled under you as you slept. I only ate dinner here the lat night at the hotel. I waited 40+ minutes for a Mixto (hot ham & cheese sandwich) and french fries and the restaurant was mostly empty. Would I stay here again, probably not. Probably stay at the IBIS Styles on Plinio Milano Street. Better value and nearby restaurants and shops to the IBIS, while nothing much around the Laghetto but a supermarket.
GGuest UserThe staff were very careful, breakfast was delicious, well-sucked, comfortable room was clean, several TV channels. The shower was delicious with water at the right temperature. I loved the bed, super comfortable and loved the view through the window. The hotel is excellent location.
BBenraheemWe are on transit to take an early flight and the location of the hotel is near to the airport that’s why we choose to stay here. Overall is good .
GGuest UserI stayed in apartment 301. We arrived midnight after a long 9-hour trip from PR. We have been in this hotel several times, and until then we had only praises to do ... but this night from 08 to day 09/07/2022 was a real nightmare ... when we were lying in bed around 00:00: 30 I realized that you connected a noisy engine with a bulb bulb hitting ... that stayed for 2 or 3 minutes .... impossible to sleep with it ... I turned off the air conditioning think it could be our air ... I slept again ... 15 or 20 minutes after more 2 or 3 infernale minutes ... 15 or 20 minutes of silence and ... 2 or 3 minutes of very noise again ...e so happened hours on wire ... if you had been stepped up the car in a fuel station and sleeping ... would have been better.
GGuest UserThe service was very good, and the facilities were very uncomfortable, because one of the lifts was not working, so what was in use was overloaded.
