TownePlace Suites by Marriott Portland Airport

We had a very early flight and stayed here the night before. Friendly front desk greets you as soon as you walk in and made us feel welcome. Our room was large and super clean. Bed was comfortable. We overlooked the lake and there are plenty of places to eat within an easy distance. Even though it’s right by the airport we didn’t hear the planes at anytime inside.

It was a nice newly renovated room with a river view. Front desk ladies were super helpful and friendly. Decent breakfast. Only complaint was that the bathroom light was connected to the fan and it was the loudest fan I've ever heard. It also automatically turned on every time you walked in. Truly horrible if you like a quiet room.

What can I say this hotel was amazing and the staff were awesome specially Emma and Adriana who treating me so nice and what caught me by surprise Emma even offered me to stay in the conference room until my room was ready but I tell Emma thank you so much I don’t mind waiting and I should thank Adriana also who pick me up at the airport at 5:30am in the morning on the day of my check in and speedy up with housekeeping to get my room ready and before I go my room when I check in was amazing everything was perfectly clean and the breakfast was delicious and I will definitely be back again in October

Pretty nice Towneplace property. Good location, everything is brand new, well appointed rooms. But unfortunately for me, being a light sleeper, it’s a very noisy and uncomfortable experience. Bathrooms have an automatic fan + light system that comes on whenever you enter. The fan is loud with a deep rumble. I could hear the fan through the walls from the rooms to either side of me. The window unit AC/Heater is loud. Again, could hear the units of the rooms to either side. If you’re a heavy sleeper, and aren’t bothered by all the random noises you’ll hear, you’ll probably like this location. Except maybe for the bed. Mattress was uncomfortable. Too soft with no structure to the mattress. Woke up with a sore back due to the weird position my body ended up in. Can tell it’s just a low quality mattress. The hotel is otherwise nice, the breakfast was good, and the service was great. For me, that’s what makes it 3 stars vs 2.

A new hotel near PDX. Very clean room and modern deco. Location is convenient to PDX (among a number of other airport hotels brands). In room features are mostly automatic - lighting turns off automatically if empty. The general manager is a highlight of our stay. Very friendly and kind. Price point is rather high

What a great find! We're always looking for lodging at the airport that includes free parking. This was booked through Park and Fly. The hotel is fairly new and the decor is somewhat stark, but the rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable and the staff was friendly. We had an early flight so missed the breakfast buffet but it looked like they had waffles and several other hot items plus the usual cereal, toast and pastries.

Lovely place, atmosphere and service

Don't stay here until renovations have been completed. It was terrible stay this time. I booked reservation with understanding renovation would be complete May 2025. We checked in about midnight. Had to leave makeshift lobby and walk outside and down the parking lot to an entrance with elevators. That did not feel safe. Then in the morning there was a small table with coffee and some type of bread wrapped in cellophane. Not appetizing nor sanitary. We left with and found another place for breakfast. I paid $175 for this. Exercise room, pool and dining area all closed.
