We had booked with my mother for 10 days in this hotel. We had each our bed and bathroom corner. We are not fans of group activities and never stay at the hotel the day. The staff are listening to the guests and very polite. Our room is located far from the pool and activities, we have been able to rest. We will miss breakfast with the birds. The hotel is very comfortable and the hotel is very comfortable. I think there's too many people in this hotel's customer side for us who are a little ”wild” but it's a very beautiful site. I forgot ... menus are varied and even if, The hotel was very good, but it was very good, because of the great number of people to eat, it was a little bit nice. I wouldn't hesitate to rent again in this hotel if I returned to this part of the Corsica. A thought for the lord of breakfast that asked us all the morning how we went 🙏

Quite clean and neat. Modern concrete hotel, large rooms each with a balcony. Each room had a kitchenette - so I think this was designed more as an apparthotel set up. Some noise at night till 1am - nightclub across the field opposite. Very anonymous corridors, few lifts. Good pool. 10 minutes walk to beach, restaurants etc - but not an easy walk, some of the hotel's path lights were out, bushes growing into the path, there was not a continuous pavement, and cars parked in the drive (where it clearly said No Parking). Breakfast good, even at 0630. We did not have evening meals there - too late in the season? Staff friendly

We had a very nice stay here! From the room quality with an amazing sea view, a very beautiful complete breakfast, everything is perfect to fulfill your experience! We also tried both restaurants, the meAl are delicious and are made with high quality ingredients!! Don’t forget to try all the desserts and also the cocktails front of the sunset in the beautiful garden!! It was our first time in Corsica, and nit the last for sure!! Sofitel see you soon!!

Stayed one night. Conveniently located and reasonably quiet. The room was located on the second floor, but after getting off the elevator one had to walk down seven steps on a narrow winding staircase - very inconvenient with luggage. The room was very small but clean and nicely decorated. No electric kettle. Comfortable bed and pillows. Small desk area with enough power outlets. Bathroom with very small shower cabin. Good water pressure but absolutely zero shelf space in the shower - had to put toiletries, comb, etc on the floor. The shower floor was also quite slippery. Decent wifi. Breakfast with reasonable selection.

The hotel is very well located in the centre of Ajaccio, but we have been disappointed by many points: rooms that are not in line with the photos for us. Much noise early morning and evening ... Household women spend very early in the rooms in the morning and wake you up ... it's a bad thing when you are on holiday. The hotel is very good and it is very good for you to have a breakfast in the street for half the price. The pool is very small, there are only 6-7 transactions available.

The Mercure hotel has a great location. It is 10 min drive from Ajaccio Airport. It has a 24×7 store (Proxi), petrol station, eateries (breakfast, Crêpes, pizzas) right next to it. The parking in the hotel is chargeable (12 eur per night). The receptionists are very cordial, they provide all the info and extend every possible help. The rooms are clean and have enough room for 2 adults and 2 kids. Kids slept on a sofa bed and it was already set-up and was comfy. The bathroom has shower, hand shower and the toilet has a water jet (first time I saw one in Europe). The pool is small but you can spend an evening sitting around it. The only thing that doesn't work but that's true for all of Ajaccio (nothing to do with Mercure) is that you will need to drive 2-3 hours to get to interesting sights in Corsica. Piana Calanques are ~2hrs away, Calvi is ~2.5 hrs away, Polambaggia beach is ~3 hrs away and Bonifacio again ~3 hrs away.
