We had a great stay in a studio apartment. Very spacious and a nice breakfast delivered to the room each morning. Staff are very friendly and it's a short walk to a big supermarket. Port Vila seafront was about a 20 minute walk.

At night, there are dogs barking and chickens crowing near the village, so it is relatively quiet. The scenery is still good.

This is a very nice place to stay in Port Vila, a bit away from the centre, but nice and quiet, apartments are big, with nice kitchen and a living room, the beds are not that comfortable though, nice pools, unfortunately you cannot swim in the sea as the water is unsafe and poluted, good breakfast.

Beautiful location except for the 3 am wake up call every morning from the roosters and dogs barking and fighting. My husband got food poisoning from the restaurant and spent 3 days in bed. The staff were not friendly and the waitress for dinner was sick and coughed with a runny nose the whole time we were there.Cant swim in the lagoon due to raw sewage going into it,the pools are very small. Gardens are beautiful and well maintained. We stayed for 2 weeks,our linen was not changed once, I even stripped the bed so they would put new linen on it,they put the old linen back on. We have stayed in many places in Vanuatu, however we will not go back to Poppies.

Pool was dirty with us pulling out dead crabs and lizards. There was no shade around the family pool.

Breakfast was same every morning and expensive considering that they actually didn't cook it. Just yogurt, white non tasty bread and croissant, juice and fruits. Staff kept forgetting thing all the time and I had to remind them every day to bring me breakfast and don't take my laundry basket away etc... When I politely complained about service for stuff, their reactions were not apologizing. Instead more like I they showed some tiredness or were not happy that I say about things...
