Mantis No5 Boutique Art Hotel

Port Elizabeth
We had actually planned to stay at Hotel No5 by Manis in Port Elisabeth for just one night, but after spending some hours here we decided to extend our visit. The level of hospitality is truly outstanding, making our stay incredibly welcomed, comfortable and enjoyable. The hotel's incorporation of a wonderful art deco building with matching interior adds a distinctive touch to the overall experience. Staying in a place that seamlessly combines accommodation with a kind of museum creates a unique and enriching atmosphere, making the stay all . You just expect that Marlene Dietrich come down the staircase after filming the latest Josef von Sternberg Movie :-) The first night we stayed at the Executive Suite at Hotel No5 which is great. Elegantly designed and well-appointed, it provides a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. The attention to detail in the decor and amenities makes the stay in the Executive Suite truly memorable. For the second night we choose to stay at the presidential suite which, in our opinion, is a true masterpiece. The tasteful and authentic furnishings create an atmosphere of opulence and grandeur. As we then had to extend for even one more night the staff really cared about us and was very helpful. The hotel has a charming small pool area, offering a perfect spot to relax and unwind. Additionally, the on-site restaurant is of a high quality, we tried it for dinner and room service and were never disappointed. Our stay at Hotel No5 by Manis in Port Elizabeth was very nice, great service , an unique art deco museum setting and great rooms.

A&A Guesthouse
4.3/543 Reviews
We received nothing less than very friendly service. Our recent stay over at this beautiful establishment rivaled the first time that we had made a reservation. The rooms are very clean, tidy, comfortable and modern - which is a feather in the cap to the delightful A&A Guesthouse House Team.
The Boardwalk Hotel, Convention Centre & Spa
4.2/541 Reviews
This used to be one of the best hotels in Port Elizabeth, but it has lost its charm. Checking was a nightmare and no manager in sight. The receptionists are very incompetent and have no manners whatsoever. They need to be reminded as to whom is paying their salaries. Breakfast service was poor, with chipped plates and coffee cups being given to us. For the price paid and what I received, I would have assumed I was in a hostel. Just left and went to wimpy where the service and meals were on standard. Will never be back and will ensure that my company books elsewhere next time.
Carslogie House
4.5/544 Reviews
We visited PE as part of our SA holiday and spent three very enjoyable nights at Carslogie. The Guesthouse is a very friendly family run business and is located a short walk to the beach and the coastal path. The rooms have a very nice setting, around the swimming pool. We chose Room 4, which also accommodates a sofa bed. The room and en-suite were very spacious. Breakfast was very good and cooked to order.
The Blue Lotus Guest House

The most comfortable beds, clean, friendly host and definitely felt at home. I will recommend this place to everyone and anyone. No disturbance as I was working on my laptop, the cleaner is also very friendly. She seem happy with a smile every day, I observed how Ann treated her and always very impressed by their relationship. That's very rareand special... keep it up Ann! Thank you 😊
