Hotels with Spa in Port Douglas

Expensive for the reason, superb travel experience, convenient travel, clean and sanitary, I strongly recommend everyone to come here, take a taxi, eat, communicate, it is very convenient, going abroad is convenient.

We stayed at Peppers for Christmas and New Year holiday. The location is great for walking distance into town and walking to 4 mile beach is an easy walking distance as well. The oil is great and very kids friendly with a nice Sandy shallow edge all the way around. We have a ground floor room with a spa bath and this was used a lot in the evening to relax, you don’t have full privacy so wear your swim suit but that’s no problem. The rooms are nice and comfortable for two people. The breakfast is not buffet style you order off a menu and they have almond milk which is great if you are like me and enjoy a almond mocha or hot chocolate. The only downside I have to this place is they don’t give you complimentary water in your room. Nor is there a water fountain where you can fill up your bottles during the day? Unless I’m missing something but they try to be eco friendly with their room service cutlery and food packaging but no eco friendly options for water. I drink anywhere from 1-3 litres of water a day especially up in a tropical climate. So definitely a few water fountains installed around the place would be amazing. Some places I’ve stayed have both still and sparkling water fountain options. Other than that we had a great stay and the staff were really nice, the small gym is good for a quick cardio and simple weights workout and the layout we had no trouble with. A hotel searched on the Internet, the facilities are complete, the rooms are spacious, the price is good, the quality is good, the port is very close to the port of Douglas, the surrounding food and beverage supermarkets are all available, the whole is value-for-money, satisfactory. However, as a high-scoring hotel, there is still a gap in service. I haven't cleaned the room for two nights. Indeed, I have come back for a day, and I haven't moved in the room. I wonder if there is a rule to live without having to clean it? It doesn't matter, it's okay to clean up. I just told the front desk in advance that I had to leave the store at 7.30 in the morning of the second day, but the next morning at 7.30, the front door and window of the reception hall were closed, no staff on duty could be found, no one answered the phone... The luggage was taken down, and It is inconvenient to throw it and then send the room card to the room. In desperation, the room card is stuffed from the door seam, and the reservation customer service is sent to inform the check-out email... The result is unknown. Fortunately, I only brushed a 10-knife credit guarantee when I checked in. It doesn't matter if I can't retreat...

Awful experience. When we first arrived it was great. Lovely service then it all went down hill. We were given keys to someone else’s room so when we opened the door someone else’s things were everywhere in there. We then went back to reception and they moved us to another room right next door to the laundry mat and also a lift that was being renovated. When I asked about noise and if this was on their website they said an email was sent out. This was not the case had we of known we would have looked elsewhere. I asked how close to the noise it was and she said we were 3 rooms away. Again when we checked in. Our room was directly next to the lift. I asked if we could moved and was advised they were fully booked (this wsd not the case as we checked the website and there was rooms available) we then asked to speak to the supervisor and was met with a very inexperienced unprofessional young man who proceed to do absolutely nothing about it and offer us $25. Are you kidding! He said he would email it over. $25 would barely buy a garlic bread in their restaurant. when we did finally go to the restaurant we said we wanted to use the voucher. We checked our emails and had nothing. The gentlemen’s then said we needed a physical voucher from reception which we didn’t get. Again focussing on the “managers” incapabilities . Hardly compensation for the horrible experience. We then went to our room and overnight the air conditioner didn’t get what felt below 27 degrees and the room was awfully warm. It also makes a horrible noise so now we had a sleepless night to top it off. Awful awful experience and I won’t be back or recommending this hotel. If your going to stay in port Douglas do yourself a favour and stay closer to the Main Street as this is also about a 7 min drive to the shops and nightlife.

The breakfast is good. The swimming pool is suitable for children. The location of the hotel is more convenient to find by car. We checked in after dark. The parking lot is free. Many parking spaces are right in front of the check-in point. Very convenient
