If you plan to go for a weekend trip and stay in Casa da Matriz you will NOT get a minute of sleep ! The apartment is close to club/bar without any information about it. During the night the there are a lot of people on the street partying and the noise from the club do not let you sleep! We have moved in the middle of the stay and the owner did not give us any refund, ignored and sarcasticly replied to our complaint ! There is not hot water in the bathroom ! We received a dirty bathroom when we arrived. Overall I DO NOT recommend this place due to disrespect and lack of hospitality from the Casa da Matriz.

Fantastic place. Fantastic location. You will have to find and pay for parking downtown, but there are places to park pretty close.

Good option in town but it can be loud music on a Friday and Saturday night until around 4am if you have a room on the front. The other nights were okay. Our room had no mirror, bin or sink in the room. There is a kitchen and a lounge. Good location when not a weekend.

El hostal está en una ubicación inmejorable y la habitación es muy amplia y está muy limpia, con mucho sitio de almacenaje. Elisabete ha estado muy pendiente durante toda nuestra estancia, incluso adaptándose a algunos cambios que iban surgiendo. La atención que hemos recibido ha sido de lo más amable. Estamos muy agradecidos.

Ficamos num estúdio super acolhedor, a localização é muito central, perto de restauração e dos principais pontos de interesse de Ponta de Delgada. Atendimento muito profissional e pequeno-almoço variado. A limpeza do local também foi exímia!

Ci è capitata una stanza davvero enorme, con un bel bagno e tutto quello che serve per farti stare comodo. La stanza era ben pulita e la posizione dell'alloggio è molto centrale, si è praticamente nella piazza di Ponta Delgada. Al mattino, verso le 7.45, fuori dalla porta veniva lasciato un bel cestino (chiuso) di vimini con all'interno la colazione. Non era granché, ma a noi è piaciuta la trovata. Piccola pecca, l'assenza di una figura di riferimento a cui chiedere informazioni. La struttura era sempre vuota, salvo che per le pulizie. Infatti anche il check-in è stato automatico, tramite un codice che ci è stato fornito via e-mail. Ci tornerei senza dubbio. Il costo si aggira sui 35€ a notte.
