Palazzo Turro Bed & Breakfast

Participation in the Piacenza Half Marathon '24 and here we are expecting a real Piacenza farmhouse! A quiet location with ample parking, it offers its visitors a rustic, well-furnished and clean environment. The common area was accessible at any time of the day with breakfast and snacks always available. Small bathroom in the room, the only flaw is the slightly "sacrificed" bidet. New fixtures and air conditioning in the room. Check in and check out after hours, conveniently arranged via wapp message. Convenient payment. Courtesy of the cleaning staff when leaving the facility. A personal envelope was waiting for us upon our arrival (I repeat outside check-in hours) with instructions on how to independently open the automatic parking gate, the room key, and names and numbers of restaurants and trattorias where you can eat. In the hope of being able to return there one day, at the moment I feel I can absolutely recommend it!!

2 night stay for lzboro. The historic structure has its charm but a series of inconveniences made the stay very unpleasant... The dining room which is on the ground floor is directly connected to the rooms which are located above it. This means that the noises, but above all the ODORS of the foods expertly cooked by the new mastershef guests of the structure, if particularly spicy and long cooked (as during my stay) make one have the sensation of sleeping directly in the kitchen... I I tried opening the French window (even though it's January...) but unfortunately I wasn't able to eliminate the smells... The walls have an almost zero level of soundproofing and the window surfaces (large for each room) only have thick curtains for reduce the light... Obviously without the presence of the mastershef I'm confused that the stay would have been different...

The B&B is located in a very quiet place, excellent for resting away from the noise and chaos of the city but in a good position for those like me who had to reach the places they wanted to visit. Having said this, let's start talking about the room which was not very large but sufficient for the purpose. The negative in my opinion is the lack of shutters or mosquito nets which prevented us from sleeping with the window open at night, unfortunately having to resort to the air conditioner. An interesting thing is the self-service breakfast, which means you prepare everything yourself but you also wash everything yourself. With an option like this, the positive thing is that during the day you can make a tea or a coffee at any time of the day. on the other hand you don't have access to fresh cakes or tarts as everything is packaged like croissants, then you expect someone from the staff to come by and check if something needs to be added but twice I had to warn them that the milk was running out. I think that for a B&B the value for money is a little above average.

Excellent place to spend a quiet night, immersed in the calm of the countryside. The rooms are spacious and the general cleanliness was excellent. Self service breakfast and nothing was missing. Coffee pods available. We did not experience any noise problems in the rooms.

Beautiful place, very particular, welcoming rooms and decent breakfast, for a B&B. Helpful staff (there is no internet signal from mobile phones so you must ask for wi-fi). All in all I would recommend it without any problem
