We stayed for 3 nights on the 9th floor and fully endorse all of the positive reviews that have been posted on here. The location of the hotel is perfect as the beach, the Yumbo Centre and CITA are all within an easy 10 minute walk. The hotel is very clean and modern and our suite was spacious and very quiet and included a separate living area, a kitchen and a large bathroom including a shower and a bath. The staff are all extremely friendly and the General Manager, Renaud, was very helpful and was keen to ensure that all of his guests enjoyed their stay. Breakfast was plentiful and with lots of choices to suit all needs. The hotel is adult only and during our stay catered for a nice diverse section of people including same sex couples and lifestyle couples who all mixed well together. The hotel has two pools and we never had an issue with getting a sun bed at any time of the day. There is also a quaint courtyard which is a lovely place to retreat to for a quiet drink and to escape from the sun. There is also an upper floor terrace with sun beds and a hot tub/jacuzzi which is very peaceful and quiet. The hotel also arranged our airport transfer which took about 25 minutes and was very reasonably priced at 53 euros. If your looking for a very nice hotel with 4 star facilities in the centre of PDI, yet still quite and relaxing, then Gold is perfect.

1st October 2025 (2 Weeks) Arrival Experience On arrival the hotel looked clean, welcoming and we were greeted by really friendly reception staff. Jose made us feel welcome and a wealth of information about our stay and room. The room was available straight away (ahead of time). We asked about upgrading to a different room which Jose was able to do and also allowed us to see the room first before we processed it. Information on the hotel, safe, rooms and lifts were told to us. Welcome drinks were offered. Staff All staff throughout our stay were always friendly, professional and a warm smile. From the start of our 2 weeks right through to checking out Pool staff were always friendly at the poolside bar, and food area. Non alcoholic shots came around the pool some days. There were different vibes with DJ, Singers on different days always relaxed. House keeping came in during the day, at times we had the do not disturb on the door they would come later when sign was removed by us. Rooms The room had all amenities, Kitchenette, 2 beds put together. They offered pillow selection menu with pillows that could cater for different people. The long basic ones in the room we were happy with. The TV had a selection of channels and you could change the audio to some languages if available. The view was nice with a partial view of the sea, looking over the roof area that had a hot tub and sun loungers in a quieter area. The room itself had Toaster, 2 cooker hob, coffee maker, pot and pans, with cutlery and plating for 2 people, with a fridge in the room also. Safe available (ask at reception). One thing for the ladies or long haired men to know is that the hair dryer does have an extendable cable (we only realized on the 2nd last day). You just need to pull it, its retractable. Facilities We only tried the food twice, once for breakfast and once for lunch. The food was ok, but we went with visiting the local centre’s Yumbo , Cita and also the beach front area, all within 5-10 mins walk. The location is ideal. There is a gym available, it looked small but had plenty of equipment. Massages were available when booked, There is a Hiper Dino shop with 100m from the hotel with an abundance of everything you need, pastries, right up to fillers you may want in your room and some home comforts and toiletries. Pools 2 pools , the long one is no more than waist height but with a seat along the wall, with cabanas beside it, there was never a rush for loungers as there was always some free at both pools, depending on the time of day and sun area. A bonus was it is an adults only hotel. Environment and Surroundings The hotel had a chilled Miami vibe throughout, décor, staff appearance. The hotel was clean throughout with not much noise level, during the day there was normal noise but not loud and definitely not stopping any siestas. The beach and 2 local shopping centres were 5-10 walk. Just 3 mins walk from the hotel is also a 24hr auto pizza maker

Well what can I say that everyone hasn't from start to finish I had a fantastic stay. From the moment I walked into reception and greeted with a smile, a warm welcome and a glass of cava quick check in then off to my room, well what a surprise my room was up-to-date , big, immaculate, clean with a big balcony. It's has everything one needs free WiFi, complimentary slippers and bathrobes, huge TV (ITV, BBC 1 +2, channel 4 and 5 for us Brits) also some of the foreign channels show UK programs and movies in English with their language subtitles). I had first floor street view with a corner pool view (room 214) which was perfect you don't actually see the street due to the hedging and even with a street view there's is not a lot of noise it's very quiet, maid service is great come everyday you even get a bottle of water left every day, the WiFi is free and works throughout the hotel, there is also 2 USB ports and ample electric sockets, you also get free pool towel which u can change for fresh ones at anytime of you desire so no need to take your own, only went to the pool on my last day so can't really comment on the pool or pool bar and didn't visit the roof top area either so can't comment, kitchen is well equipped even have a microwave (but unfortunately I don't think Canarian people eat microwave food i couldn't find any microwave meals in supermarkets my ONLY complaint no freezer in fridge for keeping ice or thinks like lollies. I was using the Salad drawer in the bottom but having to scoop the ice water out every couple of days my only complaint, 8 couldn't get my room for late checkout but they do have a luggage room and courtesy shower room available for freshening up for late flights l. And last of all it was my birthday on the Friday and when i came back to my room in the afternoon there was a little happy birthday greetings and a bottle of sparkling wine in my room which i thought was absolutely special and would like to thank the staff and hotel for it was appreciated, I visit the island every year for my birthday week but like to try different hotels but definitely thinking of returning here again next year. Revisited here for the past week with my partner after our first visit in May 2023. We decided to return to this hotel as we had enjoyed it so much the first time. This time, the hotel was still very good and we had a good time, but it was like a tale of two halves. There were a lot of great point to our stay but unfortunately also many bad points too. On arrival, we were once again greeted with a glass of cava each and because we arrived just before noon, we were told our room wasn’t ready. The very friendly receptionist told us we were free to use the pool and hotel amenities until our room was ready. She informed us that she would try and have the room ready within the hour but couldn’t guarantee. We sat outside and enjoyed our cava in the sunshine, getting changed into shorts and flip flops before taking a casual five minute walk down to Yumbo to grab a bite to eat. We must have been left the hotel about 20 minutes when reception called to say the room was ready. This was really quick and we weren’t expecting it. Amazing service and very welcomed after a long day of travelling. We returned to the hotel and unpacked. We had once again opted for a Junior Suite as we had last time. This time we were on the end, just below the hot tub and this was a much quieter room as we didn’t hear any noise at all from the scraping of sun loungers above, or the poolside bar below. The odd noise from next door was heard, but nothing major from inside the room. The rooms are exactly as shown in the photos online and every detail is taken into account. The air-con is also amazing and much needed after a relaxing day around the pool, or hot tub/sauna area on the roof. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen area well equipped, even with a coffee pod machine. There was also a complimentary bottle of red wine and a pack of sweets to enjoy. A nice touch. The staff members we encountered were all extremely friendly and helpful, especially the whole of the Reception Team and Marta at the restaurant/bar. The pools are a good size and there are a good number of beds but too many people reserve their beds with towels and bags when they aren’t even using the pool. Some days we observed towels and bags on beds and for the few hours we were there and after, not one person visited the beds to use them. For the first 5 days of our holiday, there was a female lifeguard on duty who didn’t seem to care that beds were reserved. She did very little to combat this, unlike the lifeguard on our previous stay who would remove towels from unused beds. Towels being left on beds often meant people could be seen on a hunt for beds and on one day housekeeping had to bring beds down from the roof for people to use. The female lifeguard also let dirty towels build up in the towel basket so that that they were flowing over onto the floor and over the towel ‘fridge’. This particular lifeguard was quite rude one day; we had returned from the beach at 5pm and went to get towels to sit aroun

Yet another amazing week in this fabulous hotel where nothing is too much trouble for all the wonderful staff. The hotel is immaculately clean and everywhere looks in tip top condition. The breakfast option is amazing & the choices available are excellent. Have already booked again for December.

We LOVED our stay at this hotel! There was a warm welcome from the front desk team and the welcome drink is a lovely touch - especially after a long day traveling. The German chap on the front desk was exceptionally friendly and helpful - a real asset to the hotel. The location of the hotel is good - close to the beach and some bars & restaurants. The hotel decor is fabulous - very fresh, vibrant & modern. Rooms are almost perfect… only thing to change (and we know this is common in this country), is to replace the two singles with a double bed or find a way to attach the two beds together as it would be much nicer for couples. Love the enormous shower and the little kitchenette & private balcony - fantastic! Breakfast is awesome - even for me, as a vegan, there were options! I had a lovely granola and soy yoghurt every morning and pan con tomate which was so fresh. Freshly squeezed orange juice and even sparkling wine at breakfast - the perfect adult only hotel! Everyone staying there was respectful and not noisy. Shame that despite the hotel making a note to not do it, people did reserve sun beds but we still always found a spot either by the pool or the solarium. The pool bar offers great drink and food options - plenty of vegan choices there including a vegan Caesar salad which I loved and my partner loved the vegan tacos. Shame that the main restaurant didn’t have any vegan options on the menu or we’d have tried that but they did do incredible cocktails - highly recommend the Piña Colada. All in all, a WONDERFUL stay. We didn’t love Gran Canaria but ADORED this hotel and highly recommend.
