Hotels near Museo Atlantico Underwater Museum, Playa Blanca

A lovely hotel for a few relaxing days. Very friendly staff, spacious room and nice pools. Upgraded to Preferred last 2 days, highly recommended. Use of Lounge, Spa and Infinity Pool of course. More than worth money! Food is diverse, plenty of entertainment and great location. A visit to Rubicon is recommended, use of Link step is also highly recommended. If you go to the Aeroporto by public transport, get on at the harbor (Muelle de Playa Blanca) and not at the Estacion. Hotel is definitely recommended!

Quite a lot of older folk staying at the hotel during my stay, however this did not bother me in the slightest. Clean room, friendly staff, and lovely breakfast. Great location- five minute walk (if even) to Playa Dolarada and shop across the road. Thank you.

We last visited this hotel in 2016 and it is still as good today as it was then. The hotel is beautiful, well maintained and represents all that is typical Canarian style with a colonial feel. It deserves its 5 star raiting. We only stayed bed and breakfast as we had done before as the choices of restaurants to eat in the area are in abundance and most of good quality. We ate in the Italian and Tappanyaki twice during our stay and they were both amazing, good food and excellent service. It was our daughters 40th birthday and honeymoon and the hotel went above and beyond to add in extra treats for them both- so thank you. A special mention must go to Limone who is part of the concierge service an outstanding attribute to the hotel one of the most hard working and happy members of the team. To Antonio the animation team manager for providing our afternoon quizzes around by the pool. He was kind and calm and not intrusive in his approach which is what you want , no pressure to join in but thoughtful in his manner. To the whole team at the hotel - thank you and see you next year.

This was our third visit this year with another in four weeks. We always commented on people who returned to the same place each holiday but when you find somewhere you feel at home it’s difficult not to return here. We did find a couple of minor changes since being here in July but not enough to hinder our holiday. The room was great as usual and although we have only booked a standard room when we return with family I am hoping we can maybe upgrade on check in. Pools and pool area are spotless and staff are all friendly, from management through to housekeeping. There were queues at the bar for drinks but be patient as this seems to be due to a shortage of staff . Lots of towels put out in the relax area but we were happy in the Family Zone.Breakfast is very good with plenty choice, didn’t try restaurants as we like to eat out.Entertainment not my thing but each time their own and we did see better singers out and about in the resort. Looking forward to coming out with family in November and we hope they love it as much as we do. Also have friends coming out next summer on our recommendation so fingers crossed this place stays the gem it is 👍

My young daughter and I have been coming to Caybeach Sun the last few years. We absolutely love coming here. There is an onsite shop that has all the essentials and more, staff in the shop are lovely. There’s 2 big swimming pools, a kids pool and water slides. There’s a pool bar where you can order food and drinks through out the day, staff at the pool bar work very hard getting everyone’s order to them, they are nice and helpful. The apartments are nice, spacious and comfortable. Reception and night staff are absolutely lovely, nothing is ever too much hassle. Especially Andreas who’s always cheerful and nice. One person who really stood out to me this year is Pika the entertainer, my god he is a ball of energy. He is great with the kids. Pika does activities during the day around the pool area and gets families involved adults and children. It’s great fun. Evening entertainment the kids love tattoos and mini disco, there does be bingo, karaoke, just dance and all sorts of evening entertainment for everyone to enjoy. Pika will talk to all the families and get everyone involved. He makes a big effort to speak in English for people like me who aren’t great with the Spanish language just yet . Hats off to pika he is very good at his job. The beach and town are only about 10-15 minute walk or 2-5 mins in a taxi. Great holiday this year.

We have just spent 7 nights here with children aged 6 , 8, 12, 16, 19. As we were such a large family I did have to book 2 rooms. I sent an email request asking for these to be next each other. This was no possible but they did have us in the same block and floor. We arrived early hours and was given a packed lunch by reception which we thought was lovely. Although the sandwiches were mouldy so obviously was not eaten. We were happy with our rooms, they were very basic but were clean. Before coming were thought the hotel had more restaurants but infact there are 2 serving identical foods. During the day the pool bar also served your basic snacks of pizza, chicken nuggets, chips ect. We chose to go all inclusive but because the food was very basic we only ate on the hotel grounds twice throughout the week. The hotel has several pools and one main pool. Main pool has a few small slides which the children enjoyed and there is also a splash park for the younger children which was great. There was never any need to rush and put your towels down as their was always plenty of sun loungers. We would use the main pool of a morning then use the smaller pool at our apartment block during the afternoon just for some quieter relaxation time. During the evening there is entertainment for the children, I wouldn't say this is the best but I was ok to pop down for an hour before we headed out off site. The hotel grounds are beautiful and very well kept. The grounds are huge and everywhere looks identical so getting lost became the norm! Getting off site was fine, reception would call us taxis and it was only 5 euros into playa blanca or down to the marina. Over all we had an ok week, and the kids had fun. I wouldn't choose to stay here again but I wouldn't tell people not to book here either

We stayed on the Premium Suits (adult only) side of the hotel. 2024 was our second year here. The hotel is just so welcoming, every member of staff greets you with a smile, and are so helpful. No one puts themselves above anyone else they all work together as a team in order to make sure that your holiday is the best it can be. Your bags are taken to your rooms upon arrival, and the potential of your stay in this great village resort is explained by the wonderful reception team. If your staying in the premium suits, then you have access to your own restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Dependent on the style of holiday you have booked, the resort will allow you to choose at least one evenings dinning at one of three restaurants. This is well worth doing, especially the Italian option. During the day you have an option to lounge by the adults only pool and eat from the accompanying bar. This offers not only lovely food, but also great entertainment in the form of the greatest team I have ever seen. Chuss and Maylin absolutely make the place everything that it is. All the team work extremely hard, but these two will have you laughing all day long. In the evenings after dinner you have a choice to make, you can go back and sit outside your room on your patio, you can enjoy the main entertainment lounge or bar area. Or if you prefer something a little more personal then stay upstairs and enjoy a drink and live music from a local performer.
