SpringHill Suites Pittsburgh Southside Works

The hotel was nice and the breakfast was well supplied and tended. However, there were days with no housekeeping… I even asked for it and the dirty towels were left in the room, the beds were not made, the trash was not emptied and at no point were the coffee/tea/cups restocked in the room. I don’t mind sheets not being changed every day and having the option to forego clean towels… but I greatly dislike the emerging practice of hotels providing no service of rooms on some days.

Rooms were spacious, well maintained, and fresh. The staff was so helpful and gracious. The morning buffet was much appreciated as well as the lobby coffee and tea. A very fine stay.

Clean and spacious room. Bike path right outside front door was an excellent perk. Breakfast was good. Only drawback is that it sit right on the train tracks and a train comes by (horn and all) every 2 hours all night.

This was an excellent spot to stay at! The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the breakfast had many delicious options. The front desk workers were friendly and readily gave me extra towels and bedding for the pull out sofa sleeper. The hotel is right next to a very nice mall area with lots of options for food and shopping.

Noisy Train ran directly behind property . It passed through area several times a day. Refrigerator didn’t work in my room . Staff assigned me to another room on day 2

I was placed in a room that was right next to the railroad track. The CSX trains were running all night long into the morning. Not the best room for lighter sleepers.

Self paid parking was easy and safe. Property was very clean and inviting. Breakfast had a good variety, coffee was just OK.
