Falcons Nest

We had a fantastic stay, our rooms were spacious & clean. Having a kitchenette was very helpful. The free entry to the sanctuary was great value. We will definitely be visiting again.

very good value for money,but you need a car to stay there as its isolated we will definate stay there again,when inn the area

This is a reserve for rare and threatend birds. A facinating place apart from being a very good stop-over. A very pleasant place to stay clean and quiet.

Very comfortable room. I didn't realise at the time of booking that entry to the bird sanctuary was included in the booking price, so fantastic value. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Would definitely stay again

What a unique and enjoyable stay. It's not often you can sleep next door to amazing birds of prey and other raptors!

I stayed in room 1. Very cosy and for the price an absolute bargain. Unfortunately i didn't get time to visit the bird sanctuary as it was literally a late arrival and early departure. The only negative point was the wifi was too weak to connect to which i really needed due to there also been hardly any signal to my phone. Not a big deal really. I will however stay here again as it was excellent value.

Very good value for money, I now stay here regularly for work locally. Having a self contained unit with kitchen and en-suite is ideal, not too far a drive if you need food or drink.

The room we stayed in at the Falcons nest was amazing. Everything was clean and we'll kept, check in/out was clear and easy. Staff helped us check in even though it was after their long shifts. All the staff were really friendly and helpful and there if we needed anything. The bird park was great, with different displays and talks throughout the day and free entry to those staying in the accommodation. Booked for a birthday surprise and my other half loved it, especially being able to hear the birds from our room. 5* would definitely stay again!

This was a hidden gem. Spacious, very clean, neat, and comfortable, with all the basic needs well provided. Even dish cloths and a recycling bin were available. Unlike many other places, no issues with Wi-Fi signal, heating or the TV remote. Only minor drawbacks were hot-water control (where it can become extremely hot, particularly when turned off for a couple of minutes and then turned on again), and low level sound-proofing between apartments.
