Our flight got delayed for hours, instead of evening the flight was rescheduled to fly around midnight. So we turn for hotel in neighbourhoods for quiet place to take a nap.
What happened was we have to wait for at least 30+minutes until we were able to check in since they can not retrieve booking information from trip.com yet.
Once we checked in and arrived at the room, we founthe AC is unable to turn on what ever button we tried only “ERROR “ message appeared, when trying to use the phone to call for assistance we found the phone also not working.
We ended up using our foreign mobile phone to make a call to local hotel number so that they could aware of the problem, the AC and the phone are broken.
Took more than 30 mins to finally send someone to fix the AC, but for the Phone the 1st staff said they have to call other to fix this.
Hours past still the phone not fixed , and there are 3 men coming in and out of the room all the time try fixing the phone. and we still cannot have any nap time that we expected for.
As time past and there is less than 2 hours left until our flight departure that when finally problem fixed we complained about their facility problem and slowness of problem fixing and our needed.
Hotel first offer upgrade, but there is no more time left for us to stay, when asked for full refund since we spend the while time at the room with broken facilities. The person-in-charge at that time, named Nanr, said it is beyond her/his authority to make the decision about refund. The unbelievable suggestion from them is for us to stay the night and wait until a person with full authority come and make decision.
In short , we paid and expected few hours of peaceful sleep, end up we paid for hours of chaos.
