Wonderful Stay Despite Ongoing Renovation – Great Service!
We stayed at DoubleTree Phuket for three nights and had a great experience overall. The hotel arranged a newly renovated room for us, which we really liked. However, since lower floors were still under renovation, there was some noise starting from around 8 AM. To make up for the inconvenience, the hotel offered us complimentary breakfast — a thoughtful gesture!
On the second morning, the sound of metal being moved woke us up early. It was a bit disturbing, but understandable due to the ongoing work. On the third morning, I casually mentioned the noise to a staff member (who I believe was the manager), and he immediately offered to help us move to a more convenient room. After discussing with our friends, we were pleasantly surprised when the hotel contacted us and upgraded us to a ground-floor room right next to the pool. We were very satisfied with the new room and truly appreciated the hotel’s attention to guest comfort.
The service at this hotel was outstanding. The location is also excellent — just steps from the beach and close to Central Patong. Everything you need is within walking distance.
We highly recommend this hotel and look forward to visiting again once the renovations are complete!
