WOW PHUKET

We stayed 2 nights in this hotel to end our trip, and it was a wonderful surprise. The hotel's cleanliness is impeccable. The staff are very attentive and always smiling! The hotel seems very new and is extremely well-maintained. The ground floor rooms open directly onto the pool from their small private terrace, which was a real treat. The breakfast is excellent and can be enjoyed on the terrace amidst lush greenery. It's not far from anything, with a lovely neighborhood vibe. There are 3 supermarkets right nearby, a very reputable scooter rental place just opposite, and a French bakery making delicious pastries right next to the hotel... so good! Go without hesitation, it's great value for money!

The hotel is alright, fair value for money. Unfortunately, it's quite secluded, and there's no shuttle service in the evenings.

The WOW Phuket hotel is located in Chalong, which makes it quite far from tourist areas and the main beaches. The hotel only offers a free shuttle to Kata Beach, but it's not very frequent and the service is limited. The hotel is therefore poorly connected, and it's a real shame that there aren't more transfers to other, more popular and touristy areas of Phuket (Patong, etc.). Regarding the room, we encountered a major mosquito problem: the room was literally infested upon our arrival. We had to treat the mosquitoes ourselves, which is unacceptable. This treatment should clearly have been done before the guests arrived. The room also lacked natural light, making it difficult to get ready. The TV had a Wi-Fi problem for several days; we had to ask the staff to fix it. The sheets are changed daily, which is nice, however, we regularly noticed stains on them, which is a shame for a hotel of this standard. The walls are very thin; we could hear all the neighbors. So much for privacy. Breakfast is prepared from 6:00 AM with music played by the staff, which woke us up very early, which was rather unfortunate. We had booked room 103 with a private pool. The pool is nice, but it was constantly in the shade and the water was very cold, making it impossible to enjoy. Positive points: Upon arrival, the hotel offers breakfast once, which is a very good idea. This allows you to try the breakfast, and honestly, it's quite good. Furthermore, the staff is kind and welcoming.
