The location is pretty good, within walking distance to Pubudu Old Street, and there are plenty of food options around, including two 7-Elevens and a McDonald's. When we arrived on the first day, the staff at the entrance actively came forward to help with our luggage and open the door. The front desk staff can speak simple Chinese, but basic English is also fine for direct communication. Overall, the hotel is decent. The bed is quite large, and the cleanliness is standard. The water quality isn't great though, so I'd recommend bringing your own filter – it's convenient. I didn't get to experience other facilities; I mainly booked this hotel because it's a Marriott property.

The pool is very clean. The restaurant service is excellent; you can order freshly made dishes à la carte. I recommend the fresh shrimp porridge and beef pho. The freshly squeezed juices are delicious, and the mango smoothie is fantastic. The environment is tranquil. Not far from the hotel, there's a well-established, affordable seafood restaurant that's both tasty and reasonably priced. To the left of the hotel, there's another inexpensive restaurant with really delicious food. If you turn right out of the hotel and walk for about 10 minutes, you'll find a small cove perfect for watching the sunset. I highly recommend this new hotel.
