Phuket Amphoe Mueang Phuket 3-star Hotels

To be honest I am sad that I can’t put 5*stars for this hotel, but everything being “out of order” I can’t do it. I am not very sure why the owners have decided to open this hotel before everything is finished, because it just gives a costumer a very confusing experience. When we arrived we were told that the sauna is out of order, breakfast room is not finished, there is no poolside bar..basically a lot of things what are not finished, but when we booked it didn’t say in anywhere and was advertised as something that’s already there. When you arrive in a hotel and first thing you get is a row of bad news it makes you very disappointed. They told us that they will upgrade us in a better room, but actually the room they offered us was definitely NOT an upgrade. It had a smaller bed than the room before and there was no sitting area anymore. They were saying this is a more expensive room because it is one floor higher and has a view to the pool(!?) We told them that there is not even a couch anymore how can this be an upgrade? But they didn’t really understand what is our problem so they made us feel very stupid and we asked our previous room back, because that one was way better. They told us that pool view rooms don’t have couches in them, but later we saw that they did. But for sure we can say if you are thinking of booking and don’t care about the view then a superior mountain view room is better than the superior high floor room! In high floor pool view room you just have a hard bench and a queen bed instead of the king. They promised to make it all up to us ,but in the end they just ignored this situation and we were left in this “feeling stupid” situation. The other thing that happened with us a lot and we saw it also happening with others was that the keycard just stops working or doesn’t work from the beginning so you have to go to the reception a lot. Poolside bar and breakfast are they are still building,but what I saw they are probably going to be very nice. Sauna worked only one night and even then we didn’t have any lights inside and had to stay in a dark sauna what is not a problem , but still not a good sign..as the next day sauna was not working and in the end it went only until 40 degrees. Very disappointing. But the bed was truly amazing and absolutely new - definitely recommended! The gym was very good with a very good equipment, so definitely pack your running shoes. Maybe in the future it would be nice if there would be some water available in the gym. The swimming pool was very good, but sadly they didn’t have different towels for the pool (probably also something to add in the future!) Also the mirror in the room is in a very dark spot and you should definitely add some lights there. I think as a new and just opened place you should try to provide a better service, but I see if all the “mistakes” are fixed how it is going to be a very comfy place for a relaxing stay. Just spent 4 weeks here. The rooms are very nice also tea and coffee facilities. Superb large comfortable bed. Staff very friendly and helpful. Had laundry done weekly which was very useful. Saltwater pool superb. Lakeside Bar and Lucky 13 Restaurant excellent as well. Location is ideal. 15 minute walk to the beach and a lake alongside the resort.

Excellent value for money. Spotlessly clean. Good location. Lovely, friendly staff. Has everything you need (tea, coffee, bottled water provided each day, toiletries in the bathroom - much more than I expected for the price) Even got a little gift on check out which was so cute! :) 🐻 Would highly recommend this place.

The layout and design of this hotel with all the Thai touches really makes you feel on holiday. There are layers of various shaped and depth swimming pools to choose from surrounded by palm trees and bright colorful flowers. You are welcomed with a fresh squeezed fruit juice at check and and walked along the winding paths of their many unique rooms. We stayed over our winter holiday and they had a full Christmas dinner at the restaurant/bar available along with a live band singing the classics. I always thought snow and jumpers were the way to celebrate, but I think i've made made the switch to sunshine a bikini and maybe a santa hat. Our A/C was broken in our room, the friendly helpful staff couldn't fix it right away and didn't hesitate to move us into another room without question and it was an upgrade on top of that. The hotel is walking distance from Kata and Karon beaches. If you like mini-golf, if you like dinosaurs, look no further then a few blocks away and you've got a combo down the street. There are plenty of convenient stores (although not a 7/11) bars, other restaurants and plenty of places to book a bus for a tour or to get you to the airport. Shower and toilet worked like a good working shower and toilet.

I have been staying here the last 7 nights with my husband and 8 year old son and its the most beautiful hotel ive stayed in. The staff are amazing, so helpful, polite and always smiling. You go through the 2 wooden doors at the front and there is a path that goes through gardens. The setting is beautiful, butterflies flying about, gorgeous flowers and plants and then you come to the pool. The pool is a good size, clean and a few sunbeds and chairs about the pool. There is also a bamboo outdoor shower there. We spent every day in and around the pool before and after my husband and son trained Muay Thai & BJJ in local gyms. Its a 2 minute walk to Tiger Muay Thai and we also walked to Top Team Gym which is about an 8-10 min walk away. The rooms are spacious. We booked a deluxe pool view room with a queen size bed and single bed in, balcony with chairs and table, a maiden to dry clothes on. The bathroom had a walk in shower. There was a fridge, aircon and tv. Room was cleaned daily and towels changed every day. I would 100% recommend to stay in this hotel, we left today and im missing it already. Perfect stay for us and cant wait to go back 💖

We booked a few months in advance through their website and received confirmation with the price and conditions. We had no further contact with them until a few days before we were meant to stay there - they sent an email saying that our card details didn't go through and that we needed to send them full payment (this was never stated when booking, we assumed we would settle payment when getting there which is what you should always do). We offered to give a different card but they refused, and said that the only way we could keep our booking is if we paid in full by paypal or bank transfer (this should have already been a red flag). We reluctantly sent a bank transfer since it sounded dodgy and they were very rude to us, but the email was coming from the same confirmation email as the reservation so it seemed legitimate. After the transfer was successfully processed, they then confirmed receiving full payment of the original booking price, but demanded we send an additional payment higher than even the first one, raising the price to more than double, and said if we do not pay it immediately we would lose our booking. With only a few days before our trip, we had very few options to choose a different accommodation and much higher prices than when we booked a few months ago. I have never spoken with such arrogant, rude, and pushy staff who take advantage of foreign travelers knowing full well they have little to no rights or alternatives in these situations. They have not refunded me for the original payment and refuse to honor the original price we booked. Do not go here!

This was probably one of the best place i stayed throughout my visits to Phuket. I opted to stay away from the hustle ans bustle of Patong. After short listing some spot through Tripadvisor and looking at the prices, decided to stay here. The staffs manning this awesome from the front-desk to the housekeeping and even the security guard were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were sparkly clean and the housekeeping did a great job everyday. Liked the room color scheme which made it more cleaner. The pool was awesome and well managed and was enjoyable. No doubt its not in the most central place but a short walk will land you near Chalong pier area where there are places to go. Renting a scooter at the hotel was convenient and reasonably priced. Will definitely stay here again if intend to be in Chalong

I was happily surprised by the look and feel of this boutique hotel located just 5 minute walk from old town Phuket. The lovely downstairs café with its Sino-Portuguese feel and excellent coffee selection (finally a non-sweet iced late in Thailand!) is a great introduction. The hotel starts on the second floor, complete with cozy all-day breakfast rooms cooled off by AC/fan. My room was on the 3rd floor, which hosts a common space with free water, coffee/tea and noodles. The room itself was squeaky clean, something somewhat hard to come by in the area, and it’s dark blue, grey and white tones had an immediate cooling effect on me. Not to mention the open shower and bathtub on feet hidden behind a heavy blue velvet curtain. Materials and fabrics are of excellent quality - the matress and bed linen in particular were far superior to what you normally get for that price. The AC/fan is a recent model, very easy to adjust to your own preferences. It all makes for a sophisticated feel great for couples or female travellers. Best to know that there isn’t a lift and the stairs are a bit of a trek, but the staff was happy to help with my bags. The only low point for me is that staff is only on-site from 7ish to 5pm. And while they are absolutely lovely and willing to help, they seem overwhelmed with running both the hotel and café at the same time.. which led me to almost miss my boat to Koh Phi Phi because they had not reconfirmed my taxi to the pier. That wasn’t comfortable but the morning girl went out of her way to get me another taxi and I made it on time eventually. I must say that they do give you an emergency phone number in case you have any issue outside of working hours. While the boutique hotel doesn’t have a pool, you can access that of the nearby (100 meters) other Blue Monkey hotel. All in all I’d be happy to come back, just double (or triple) checking on transfer arrangements.

Appreciated: Myself and my fiancé, appreciated the gesture of the room being cleaned on a daily basis as well as soap, bottled water and toilet paper being re-supplied. Most of the gentleman who cleaned the room were friendly despite the language barrier. Also, the security guard also did not speak much English...but he made an effort to communicate :) Disliked: We were not happy with the room upon our arrival, as it was nothing like the pictures indicated on booking.com, therefore; after a long 22 hour flight our vacation started off with a slight disappointment. The television had 1 or 2 English channels, and there is air conditioning available, because the rooms are extremely hot. There are no refreshments in the room, nor appliances, crockery or cutlery...but there is hot water available on the ground floor. So we bought take away coffee and kept the cups for re-use. However, after this discovery there was nothing that we could do about the room at the time of arrival, because the hotel reception staff does not speak English. Also, we had to make peace with it because we had booked our entire 14 day vacation at Summer Hotel, so if we cancelled we would have lost all of our money paid for the accommodation. After about the third day of our holiday, we had acquainted ourselves with Old Phuket Town and thus drafted a really busy schedule for our 14 day vacation, which resulted in us really only going to our hotel room to sleep an watch a bit of TV.....but after some time, it really turned not to be bad at all...we made the most of our situation...afterall we were on holiday and we wanted it to be memorable :)

- Very comfortable SHA+ hotel for budget Sandboxer like me - Ms. Fay the Manager is very responsive, perfect English (of course), making sure you get all your documents well. I directly booked with her without external site - This branch is in a little alley BUT it’s a smack-downtown Phuket Town! - Phuket Walking Street Night Market 2 mins walk. Long streets of Instagramable Sino Portuguese shophouses in Thanon Thalang & Thanon Phang Nga: 2-3 mins walk (literally next junction). Cafes, restaurants, daily shops, all super convenient! - Everything else in Phuket Town is within walking distance. From Michellin Roti Taew Nam, regular local food court (the uncle knew my usual custom fried rice order), to upper end Japanese restaurants for example. - Bed: clean. If you were like me, the bed was the perfect softness/hardness. Something about a renovated historic building too that makes you sleep till noon. - Overall room: clean. Perfectly functioning room. The decorations and classic Sino-Portuguese architecture were just icing on the cake for me :) - With the declining tourism, I was the only guest after my 3rd day there. Enjoyed the quieteness of the town because of this. - Good price for airport transfer as well
