Sunset Marina Hotel

Hello, fellow travelers! My wife and I, along with a group of 3 others (total of 5 people), stayed here from March 3rd to 16th, 2026. We were all very satisfied, with no major complaints. The hotel is small and cozy, with 4 floors and an elevator. Each room has a balcony. Everything is clean and tidy. At the reception, there are always boxes of water, and if you run out, they provide more without any issues. We specifically chose this location for its tranquility; it's quiet all day long, with no hustle, bustle, or traffic. In the mornings, you wake up to the sound of birds singing. In front of the hotel, there are tables and chairs, giving you the feeling of stepping out of your own home to enjoy coffee or a beer. The plumbing is all new and clean. The renovation, while not super high-end (I'm talking about the quality of the finish), is very pleasant. There's absolutely no mold anywhere, and all the materials are modern. Just around the corner, about 30-40 meters away, there's a huge 3-level swimming pool. There were always free sun loungers, and the water was clean, though it felt a bit warm to us. So, during the day, in the heat, we didn't really swim much; we went in the late evenings, after sunset and dinner. Of course, during the day, we went to the sea. It's very close, literally 100 meters away. The beach isn't spectacular, not comparable to Khem or Bai Sao, but it's quite decent. It has modern sun loungers and a clean, well-maintained area. On the ground floor, there's a communal kitchen equipped with everything you need, and a laundry room with modern washing machines and dryers. Basically, it has absolutely everything for a comfortable stay. We also enjoyed the breakfasts; the selection isn't huge, but all the essentials are there. They provided fruit every day (mango, watermelon, and dragon's eye). You definitely won't go hungry. We really appreciated the free bicycle rental service. We rode all around the neighborhood and even to the neighboring district where the night market, mini King Kong, and lots of cafes are located. In conclusion, for those who seek peace and quiet, I definitely recommend this place.

Everything was great. I recommend it. The room was clean, and they cleaned it every day. Breakfast was delicious. The beach nearby is also clean.

We stayed at the hotel for two nights. It took us about 30 minutes to get there from the airport. The hotel is very clean and new. They offer a good breakfast, so you definitely won't go hungry! The grounds are excellent, and the pool is fantastic. The hotel is located inside a complex, which was a plus for us because it was quiet and peaceful at night. It's great that they provide bicycles for free, so you can explore the whole area nearby and take some cool photos. Make sure to cycle to the left (if you're standing with your back to the hotel, facing the sea); there's a great beach there with cleaner sand, and it just has a better vibe overall.

I was worried I wouldn't be able to check in since I arrived late, but a male staff member was waiting for me at the front and kindly helped me check in. Thank you! The breakfast also had a good variety of food and was delicious!

This is a fantastic option for a budget-friendly trip without compromising on quality. We arrived at Sunset Marina significantly earlier than check-in time, around 7:30 AM. The owner, with great kindness, gave us a breakfast coupon as a complimentary gift, which was a lovely surprise. Since construction workers had damaged the WiFi cables at that time, and we couldn't call a taxi, the guy at the front desk arranged a taxi for us to go get a SIM card, handling all the details himself. As for the hotel itself: it truly feels like a home away from home. On the ground floor, you can heat or cook something (for free) and do laundry (200,000 VND for 7 kg). The room has an iron, a hairdryer, air conditioning, a smart TV, and everything else you need. There's also a small balcony with a clothes drying rack. Upon arrival, there were two complimentary cans of Pepsi in the fridge, which we used to mix with the excellent local rum. Breakfasts are served in the adjacent building in a pleasant atmosphere, where lovely ladies will prepare eggs for you in any style. The neighboring building also has a gym, and there are three swimming pools nearby. The beach is just a 2-minute walk away. There's a night market nearby where you can eat affordably and a 68mart convenience store with good prices. My suggestions for the hotel: add a few metal hangers to the balcony and clean the curtains (they detract from an otherwise clean room).

Absolutely loved it, would definitely stay again! There's a supermarket, night market, and restaurants all nearby. The beach is also close by, perfect for watching the sunset! ☀️🏖 We even got to meet the dog from the hotel across the street 🐕. We opted for breakfast, which was delicious! The dog was also keeping an eye on us, which was sweet. Such a lovely hotel!

A really great hotel. Completely relaxing stay. Everything is clean and beautiful. If you want to go shopping, you can take a motorbike or bus 19.
