Wyndham Philadelphia Historic District

The location is super strategic, but the hotel room could use a bit more TLC bc the air feels a bit heavy, and the cleanliness could be improved.

We stayed here primarily for it’s location to the historical sites. we parked our car in the hotel garage and easily walked less than 10 minutes to Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell, visitor center, Betsy Ross’s House, and other sites. the staff is friendly, our room was clean, and breakfast in the restaurant was excellent. A great experience for our first visit to Philly.

I like the size & firmness of the king size bed. The shower was tall enough for this 80 inch man. It was easy to check in and checkout. Everybody on the front desk were friendly.

Very close to the old town, liberty bell center. Easy access to the Amtrak station via L1

I planned a romantic get away weekend and paid for a king sized bed for me and the missus in advance. Upon arrival, they just said "Oops, they over sold the rooms again, no King size bed BUT we'll give you a free upgrade and you can have 2 smaller beds...call Chris Head of Ops if you have a problem with it". There was no working # for Chris on the card they gave me for him. When I asked for an extra blanket, I recieved the infamous "brown blanket". It was completely crinkled, unfolded, a sand paper like texture, that actually was hard to unfold...it was stuck to itself and made like a velcro sounds as you peeled it apart...totally unusable...can't believe they still give this blanket to people. Otherwise, room was solid, employees were very nice and Chris was nice when I met him during check out.

The hotel has the perfect location within the historic district of Philadelphia. Walking distance to the Independence Hall and National Constitution Center.
