The environment and scenery are really great. The room decoration is relatively new on Phi Phi Island. However, there was a power failure or power maintenance when we checked in. After checking in at 3 o'clock, the air conditioner in the room could not be turned on until after 4 o'clock. I stayed in the room for more than an hour and it was like a steamer. The hotel did not take any measures or compensation for this.

The food is delicious, the staff is lovely, the accommodation is good, the staff provides good service, but there is only one disadvantage: you have to pay for the boat to the accommodation yourself.

We stayed at Centara for 5 days. The hotel area is small. We were checked in an hour earlier. Polite helpful staff, transfer from the pier to the hotel is about 20-25 minutes by boat for a fee, 1800 baht for the whole boat (if there are many of you) or 500 baht per person.
Pros: large room, comfortable beds, comfortable pillows, incredible view from the balcony, throughout the territory, there is a transfer on the hotel grounds (it is difficult to walk in the heat up a steep mountain), a clean small pool. Nearby is a small village where you can eat and go for a massage. A little further is the Saii hotel.
There is practically no beach. Just below the pool there is a concrete wall, you need to go down a slippery staircase, this is the beach).
Breakfasts are meager, buffet, small selection. European cuisine is excellent, but Thai is lame.

I visited Centara for a short break in June. I was very surprised at the level of luxury for the price. The villas were very well appointed. An on call buggy service to get you around the resort was a must. Stand out was Executive Chef Umed and his team. I was greeted at breakfast by a very personable and immaculately presented Chef Umed. He started up a conversation and was clearly interested in the content of people's answers. Nothing was too much for Umed and his team. He has clearly commanded respect and its apparent he holds them in high regard also. An incredibly seasoned and talented Chef. The Centara group are very lucky to have him. Thankyou for a great stay.

Tried the aromatherapy massage after a fullday of island hopping. One of the best massages by therapist ROH Highly recommend Worth every penny spent
